They're just standard wire cutters tbh, nothing fancy.

All you need to do is take the front panel off which is screwless. Thats all the taking apart you need to do.

Edit: Oh and remove the fan and maybe HDD if you have them at the front. Its not major dismantling. Do it! ;)

Sorry for the delay but only just got the rubber edging. Not looking too bad I don't think compared to what it was with all those sharp edges.

I went a bit more extreme with modding mine :D. Bought a CM mega flow but i still wasn't happy with the noise or airflow it gave. So opted to use 2 quality 120mm fans. The lower one cools the hdd and the top one has unrestricted airflow into the case.

I have also removed the mesh filter from the removable grill at the front as it looked a mess, constantly covered in white dust. A big design flaw when they put a smart looking front on the case as its then ruined by a dust covered filter.

I'm going to attach 2 foam filters directly in front of the fans, so they are still accessible through the removable grill, but the front will look smart without dust all over it. It should also stop dusty air being sucked in through the gaps between the front panel and the case chassis, meaning less dust inside the case.

I might get some of that rubber trim and neaten up the cut edges. Looks good, even though it will never be seen by anyone but myself xD.

Whats fans are people using for the exhausts?

I've got 3 Gentle Typhoons, and they sound far from gentle.

I used the Coolermaster meagreflow on the top,set to low on the fan controller.

Then got a 1200rpm Scythe S-flex as the rear exhaust, again set to low on the fan controller.

My temps all seem pretty good and its not bad on the noise front. Still a little louder than I would like but I think this is probably due to my reference GTX280 and corsair TX750 psu.

I'm stuck with the three 120mm fans since I have my dual RAD mounted at the top. Got a Megaflow at the front. Got them plugged into the built in fan controller at the moment but it is a bit cacky.

I might try and find a proper fan controller (which doesn't look out of place) to allow me to run them at a slower speed. The Gentle Typhoons are 1850RPM.

Sooooo... can any recommend a 4 channel fan controller with a black brushed aluminum effect?

Which controller do you use Mark?

Edit:
Can only find this one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-007-AK&tool=3
I don't really want 6 dials though.

Edit edit:
Found the Scythe Kaze Master Ace. 4 dials but got not so keen on the display... I'm too picky :P

Lamptron FC6 looks ok :)

Aqua Computer Aquaero, you can buy a black brushed facia for it too, but it's damn expensive. That FC6 looks nice, if only it had 6 controls instead of 4 i'd buy one myself.

I'm just using the built in fan controller at the moment. I'm in the same boat as you trying to find one that will suit it.

Is there any way to disconnect the wires from the integrated fan controller? They take up so much room and create clutter at the back of the case which bugs the hell outta me knowing that it is messy.

Would love to know this too..

I have a Nesteq fan controller which matches quite well.
