**GTX 690 NOW AVAILABLE AT OcUK!!**

I just read the AnandTech review for this card. In most of their games suite, they're testing the card at a resolution of 5760x1200 to find scenarios where it makes a reasonable difference, and even then the frame rate is often on the wrong side of 80.

If a feasible usage case for the card involves three monitors, I can't help but feel that it's a solution to a problem which doesn't really exist.

I just want it cos it looks awesome and has epic preformance / watt ratio, and its completely silent and cool and uber but it costs too much!

:(

Not really, I'm running 3, plenty of people are.

What Surveyor said. I assume a single 680 clocks better as well. I think allot more people are running higher resolutions these days and with BF3 it's really required if you want to run 60FPS constant with AA and not FXAA.

I'm just amazed it costs more than 2 separate cards

Why?
It looks great. It's two cards in one maybe slightly bigger case than the 680 case. It uses less power than two 680's. It can run off of a 650watt power supply (apparently). It gives people the option later of installing another.uses less space inside the case than two cards.

I am surprised Nvidia pulled such a great product out of the bag. They were late to release their cards (compared to AMD) but have put together a fantastic piece of dual card kit, even before AMD brought something out

I'm upgrading my system and must admit I'm very tempted to place an order for one of these. I'm not even a huge gamer but it will last me a long while and handle 2600x1440 well in games for some time.

Even if I was a millonaire I would not buy one of these whats the point!!

There really is no point in spending close to a grand for a graphics card, hell you could build a really good rig for that!!

Stupid product for stupid money that only stupid people will buy!!! ;)
Just my 2p!

Dont flame just my personal opinion! :p

If I was a millionaire I'd buy two in a heartbeat. Guess I must be stoopid then.

Actually the 690 clocks twice a single 680. Though I have a feeling it gets diminishing returns.
