I am scared to casually read peoples posts now, have all the spoilers gone?![]()

Well boys, I think I'll get involved
Couple of quick questions though:-
1) is a headset essential (not a problem if it is, just means I'll need to make sure I get one)?
2) Worryingly, this thread seems to be taking the game very seriously, which is all good and I'm not knocking it, but are people like me and others who are brand new to Diablo going to be welcome online?
Is the community friendly or elitist??
Yup, no more deckard cain is the 4th prime evil, the lord of deception spoilers here.
Moving house on the 14th is really gonna suck ><
I've unsubscribed from the thread until someone promises that no one else will post numbers about skeletons
It has a delivery address but doesn't seem to let me change it, unless I have to add another one and delete the existing one.
Until the date is set though there isn't much point fussing about it. Its most likely the 14th but if it gets put back then it'll all of been for nought. Course even if I sort that out there's no guarantee I'll even have an internet connection...
Well i know how you feel, since it's looking more and more likely that i wont even be near a pc on the 14ty, 15th and 16th!![]()
Are we going to be allowed to talk about the game when it's actually out?
"I just killed the Skeleton King on Inferno, it was hard when he did x move."
"OMG I HAVEN'T REACHED THAT YET!"
Frankly if you don't want to discuss the gameplay mechanics what's the point of the thread? Not trying to be a pain here, just genuinely wondering, there's literally nothing we can talk about if we can't even speak about how much HP a monster has.
I'm sure if Blizz allows (most likely not) it someone will make a mod to show enemy Hp/mana anyway, like most games.
I don't ever recall worrying about much HP/stats a monster had in D2 lol
only how much hp i had![]()

Blizz confirmed quite early they were going to have a blanket refusal of mods. They want to keep the possibliity for exploiting as watertight as possible to prevent people fuvaring the economy.
In options you can make it show the health bars of monsters all the time.
Mods will only ruin this game in my opinion, i am glad that blizzard are not letting people create/use them.
for the most part yes
but i reckon some tool tip mods would be helpfull to know EXACTLY what your items are doing.
Yeah some mods are ok, but others can ruin the game. So rather just not have them at all. I am one of the few people who think that mods ruined certain parts of wow's pve and pvp, there for it could do the same to this game to.
