It does seem like a good option if you want to upgrade more often. 24 months is becoming way too common now, 18months are a bit pricey too to begin with.
 
I've joined the bandwagon. Getting the Unlimited mins, Unlimited Texts and 1GB Web Data £36.00 tariff but with a 30% staff discount from my cousin who works at o2, so in total i'm paying £25.20 per month. Win Win for me :)

Also I have an idea to try though before breaking out the airbrush spray, 3M Carbon wrap!
 
really? what do you expect the paint on top of the plastic to last? 2days? :D wrap is the only thing + it will not be that bad for it to need a wrap.
 
I'm liking the look of the S3 more and more, but, when I see an S2 I can't help but thing that the S2 is still far better looking... I guess I'm trying to justify the S3 over the S2 for me....

S3 internals in S2 chassis would be awesome.
 
I quite like how it looks there. Although looks are relatively low down in the list of what I look for in a smartphone, as long as it's not too bad.

Saying that, I'd probably still replace the back cover :p
 
At first I thought it was ugly but it's one of those designs that slowly grows on you, I can't seem to make my mind up about it, need to see it in the flesh really.
 
I think it looks pretty bad in those pictures. :(

Generally I like it more than I initially did when I thought it looked fairly awful, but I now think it's fairly passable in the looks department, however it's nothing special.

The two capacitive buttons look a bit out of place against the curved bottom corners though... it makes it appear a bit 'chopped off'.

You can't fault it aside from the looks though (and perhaps TouchWiz), and I'll decide when I actually see it. Either way it wouldn't be quite enough to put me off if I wanted one. As I don't need the extra storage I'm not feeling drawn to it over the X unless the battery life is a lot better.

As for all this talk of wrapping it and putting different backs on, people do realise the front is the same colour so by doing that you could well make it look even worse?

I pre-ordered it last week with the same idea - Didn't want to get to launch date and not be able to get one :o
