I still think it looks butt ugly and rather cheap looking :p

The colour isn't as bad as what we all thought originally, the front looks black in certain lights and Blue in other light conditions and from certain angles. This is one area where it will definitely have to be seen in the flesh to properly judge.

But the camera/speaker area and buttons, more so the middle hard button ruins the design imo.

Not keen on the brush look either, for metal it's great but not glossy plastic :o

It looks a lot nicer in the video if you watch him handling it than it does in the pictures, too.

I wonder what the battery will be like...
 
I can't do my O2 trade in until week on Friday, it gives you 14 days at that price.

Will need a couple of days with the S3 to make sure.

So hope it stays at £230 until then.
 
At least with the blue one it "changes colour" in different lighting conditions - A cool conversation piece, whereas the white is just white....and girly.

I bet more than half the joe public population looking to get an S3 get white in the same way that people speccing new average cars in white.

That's the 2nd worst S2 colour man, next to pink!

I can pretty much guarantee that 3rd party makers will release housings in multiple colours. They absolutely have to as well because the S3 has a trend already set by the S2 to follow and makers want a piece of the popularity pie.
 
Yeah I don't like the white on the S3 either, like the S2, it's one of the worse looking phones in that colour.

The iPhone looks fairly good in it but unfortunately it's opted for mostly by women so has a bit of a stereotype around it.

I think the One X looks excellent in white though, I wouldn't have bought a grey one.

i had a white zte blade and it was ok.. i dont mind the s2 in white tbh it looks alright with the metal edge :o out of case tho put any case on and it looks rubbish thats why i have a pouch now.. getting a note before s3 im sure of it so that will be blue as im bored of white for now..

The One X in white looks a lot better (manly) for 2 reasons:

1: It isn't curvy anywhere.
2: The black bezel surrounding the screen and it's offset from the fascia - Looks almost military in design!

I still think the black X looks better but sadly the screen doesn't "feel" as nice on the black one because there's nothing to offset that screen and bezel like on the white one. If it was an AMOLED screen it would be a whole different story, like how the black S2 looks epic because you can't see where the screen starts and ends.

I prefer the camera ring on the grey X (it's not black! :p) but that's all.

I don't think you're going to get that seamless screen effect on the S3 though, perhaps in darker lighting conditions you might.
 
That video looked nice. Not sure why people hate TW as it seemed to work well. I have 2 questions though that ppl might be able to answer:

1. Is the phone dialler like HTC Sense i.e. Can I just type a name using the numbers and a list will come up with the contacts matching the name?

2. Does the browser come with text reflow?
