Pretty much what I do, I make sure I get all the daily vitimans I need. But I don't stress over food too much just make sure I eat everything I see. Don't stress about going out for dinner, having a unexpected take-away.

But then I don't eat **** very often, can't even remember the last time I eat sweets or a packet of crisps. Then i can't remember I eat a bit of fruit! :o

My diet is now primarily about fish [mackerel, salmon, tuna, mussels, prawns, sardines, cod] and the odd chicken and beef like once or twice per week with mixed vegetables and sweet potato or brown rice with some Omega 3 rich olive oil dressing. I eat 70-85% dark chocolate every now and then and a packet of crisps every now and then as well but i do take multi-vitamins, fish oils etc, no powder anymore.

Currently between mesocycles, not sure where I'm going to go next. So decided that whilst I wait I'd do a push/pull cycle. Did some flat bench, incline db work, then some weighted chins and BORs, a bit of core work and I was done. Short and sweet. Medium volume - happy enough.

This is what I do. I'm relatively "in tune" with my body, and can pretty much stay as I am through my daily diet. I don't fuss over it. I choose decent foods and don't really worry about macros etc... I know that I tend to eat lots of protein and fats and some decent carbs too. I go by how I feel and how I perform.

I presume you buy foods for your lunches though? Or do you buy them at work?

I don't have a kitchen at the moment and have been generally really busy. Eating out at the weekends etc. and I am probably in the best shape I have been in for a while. I just roughly keep track in my head like Freefaller. I know I can get away with a certain amount of rubbish and maintain my weight.

Less is definitely more for me when working out. At the moment I am spending about 25 minutes in the gym 5 days a week. Yesterday I did some warming up and then:

Bench press 3x6 at 110kg with 3x6 chins +25kg (super sets). Then 3x5 standing bar bell press at 60kg.

Then one set of 15 reps Side raises with 7.5kg dumbbells and one set of 10 very wide pull-ups.

Down to 88kg from 95kg in January. A lot of that is probably down to cutting back on alcohol though. I was drinking something most nights 2 weeks out of 3.

Nice work Milgo, on both weights used and weight carried! You coming to the July meet? Will be great to see the results :)

I guess so, I feel slimmer around my mid section. I think I have a bit more taper and my lats are showing more. Also less double chin :D My form is better and energy levels are more consistent too. I still got called a fat geek the other day though. No pleasing some people :)

I haven't been on here much Monkee. What are the dates? I am away on holiday early July, but only for a week.

Yup - I make all my food. So I do have full control over my diet and as such it's pretty good. :) I still enjoy having some naughty days - but in general I control my food intake well. I'm using my "superstack" at the moment just to bump up when I feel I've had a **** day's worth of food, or pre/post gym.

So you do manage what you eat then? :p You just don't measure it out each morning ;)

eh?

You manage what you eat too - by making a choice in a shop, or choosing not to eat, or choosing a certain type of food over another! No different to me, I just buy in bulk on my weekly shop. :)

Think I'm going to use this place a bit less for the foreseeable future.

I seem to be getting wound up over little things.

One of which being why people bother asking for advice only to ignore it.

Welcome to the real world :p

I really wouldn't let other users posts / threads get to you chap. It's not worth it

Huh? What did I miss?

Nothing. It's not aimed at anyone in particular (excluding myself). :)

I think I know what the real world is like already - in fact perhaps it's things that are going on in the real world that are the underlying issues.

Anyway, don't want to appear to be (insert whatever in here ;)) so hopefully I'll be back with added muscle!

Not getting at anything so don't worry :p

I'm kind of the same, I have my daily meals set out for the week. And each morning I have porridge.

I know what I need to eat for each day, and go from there really while following a diet plan so to speak.
