Yes you've made the mistake of thinking that first cousins can't currently marry each other when they can (in the UK).

So actually the question becomes, if British law recognizes the right of first cousins to marry, why not unrelated gay people?

I don't mean to burst your bubble but Adam and Eve didn't actually exist, humans evolved over millions of years so the argument is based on a false premise.

Also following the 'Adam and Eve' logic, you should also believe that women should be sub-servant to men (as Eve was created from a mere rib of Adam) and asking why snakes no longer have the ability to talk.

Finally, if you believe the "Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve" mantra, you shouldn't be eating any tree grown fruit either as you should consider it 'forbidden'.

Also homosexuality is common in lots of species. Homophobia exists in only one.

You seriously want to go down this route? Evolution vs Creationism? The Jewish creation myth is just that, a myth. Just like the Greek myths, Norse myths, Hindu myths et al.

If you want to discriminate for religious reasons just be honest about it. Just say "My religion discriminates against homosexuals, I follow that religion and so also discriminate."

I'm sure at some point in time , due to the laws of chance, a couple called Adam and Eve did exist.

Can I prove they weren't the first humans on Earth from whom we all descended? Yes, as the evidence that humans evolved from a common ancestor millions of years ago is pretty conclusive.

But if you want to pretend every single credible Biologist and Anthropologist in the world is wrong and a few Jewish goat herders got it right a couple of thousand years ago then go knock yourself out my friend.

Erm, homosexuality exists in nature in lots of species. Therefore it is perfectly natural.

It wasn't considered discrimination until fairly recently....
