The Rum Diary. Not great. It didn't feel like it really went anywhere or achieved anything. It just sort of meandered. Still, Johnny Depp is predictably pretty good and Amber Heard is fit, so there you go. Come to that, Johnny Depp's not a bad looker.
Pandorum blu ray.

Loved it, but then I thought event horizon was epic. Like the girl in it too lol. Think I first saw Pandorum in imax? Can't remember. Loved the end
9/10 as I got to spend naked time with gf

The Panny 3d is good, the glasses are comfortable, even.. Cool? Nah!
Does go quite negative and had to use cinema instead of THX, but it is better in 3d than not. But then I like 3d

Had never watched it before, just one of those films I hadn't seen. Brilliant, gritty and an scary performance by De Niro. Jodie Foster must have been about 12-13 during the time of filming, which seems kind of wrong given her role. But I guess that adds to the story.

Finally saw Super 8 - 9/10 a very interesting way to do an alien film - the kids all acted it really well and there were plenty of moments to make you jump (on first viewing anyway).
Kinda similar to Natalie Portman in Leon.
Saw Dark Shadows, the new Johnny Depp movie...only went and saw it because i have huge hardon for Depp. Missus likes him too and we thought the movie was pretty decent but nothing amazing. It was your typical Tim Burton affair ie dark and brooding. Had some funny bits in it but like i said it wasnt anything amazing.
7/10 for me.

Just watched War Horse for the first time. Enjoyed it, though pretty schmaltzy and unrealistic. Solid 7.5/10 I'd say.

Ratatouille - Great film.
The bit where the critic takes a bite of the ratatouille and has a flashback to his childhood made me emotional. The way his mother caresses his cheek and the way the character shifts into to a child-like innocence after taking the bite is just perfect.
Equilibrium - Dystopian film where society is forced to supress emotion using drugs to prevent any unrest. Christian Bale is good but the film didn't grab me. I found most of the enforcers seemed to be showing emotion, anger, pride for example. Anyway, I like most dystopian stories but didn't think this had much to add. 2/5
