It would be cool if someone could borrow me one guest pass till i get my game copy and give it back when i get my game from amazon :]

Curious to know if people who were not in the beta and have not been given a guest pass have the Starter Edition in their Battle.net accounts?

Seen conflicting information as to whether I will need a code or not to be able to use it, I have one listed but I was in the beta so thought maybe they were being nice and adding it, but if everyone has it looks like I would need a code.
 
Can someone please explain to me why this game is so popular. I want to pick it up but just not really sure what the whole appeal is, Is it great co op or something?
 
I placed an order with Amazon last week without realising they've been short supplied (or whatever their problem is) because I have a Prime trial going which I want to get some use out of and because I'm tight and wanted to save a couple of quid.

I take it I won't be able to play it with my mates come Tuesday evening then unless I cancel my Amazon order and buy a copy elsewhere?
 
Hmm, think it could be interesting trying to make some money out of this. I'll try anyway xD

If I could make £100 over Summer from it (considering I have 6 weeks with nothing planned...) I could pay for my PC upgrades... Hell if I enjoy it, I'd be happy to make back the cost of the game...

Going to pop into Game on the 16th (last exam is on the 15th). Hopefully they still have stock. Otherwise I might try the purple shirts or Argos, People tend to forget about them, and I don't see them not stocking this....

I am hoping to make a bit of pocket change at least from the RMAH, not sure what to expect though.

I think the odd lucky person might get a nice item early on and find someone willing to part with a stupid amount of cash to get it but otherwise... I really think people are overestimating how much they'll get from the RMAH.

We won't know for certain until we figure out what sort of things people are going to pay for once the initial rush is over.
 
Ffs just checked amazon order. I had it on 1 day delivery, now it's on 1st class, and one day delivery is gone and "expedited" is in its place, 2quid more than 1st class. Tempted to just cancel.

I've already got one (paying me much more xD) :p the 6 weeks is just the spare time :p

It probably is a bit optimistic, but none the less it would be nice. Or even if I pay for a couple of new fans or a fan controller or something xD

To be honest, I'm almost thinking best bet to get money out of the RMAH may be just with low priced raw ingredients. The stackable easy to obtain stuff, that people want, for 10p a pop (which I think is the minimum price). Alternatively you might get lucky and sell an insane piece of armour in the £5 mark. But who knows.

anyways . just formatted my PC ready for D3 , just installed D2 with Expansion and playing on b.net on hardcore mode to see how far i can get ;) Great fun !
