There's a £1 fee on everything iirc. There's a 15% on crafting materials and another 15% when you pull money to your Paypal account.
As well as there being a quite low cap to the amount of money you can have on your account.

It's a £1 transaction fee on equipment, and a 15% transaction fee on commodities, no £1 on commodities.

http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/diablo-iii-auction-house-general-information#q4

You can have up to 200 Battlenet points or whatever it is, on your account, and then you can have as much as you want in your Paypal account obviously, but yeah, that comes with the 15% transfer to paypal fee.

So basically on commodities you're looking at 30% loss, or possibly, 28.75% depending on how they do it. (Whether the paypal amount is 15% of total sale or of amount after the Auction house fee), and then on equipment it's £1 + 15% to transfer to Paypal.

Ok, so I'm definitely going for the digital edition if my CE doesn't get dispatched soon. I'll still wait for the CE and get the extra standard CD key from Blizz when it arrives on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Probably give the standard key away in a competition or tourny.

:: Forgot to mention. I made this decision after seeing first hand how big the queue is at HMV London already. Tents everywhere.

I'm guessing the people who went for the 1 day shipping method on Amazon will get it tomorrow, and the 1st class will get it Tuesday?. if not then whats the point in paying for the different methods?

I have one-day, amazon have said they will refund delivery costs though because of this messing about.

Will report back tomorrow if it arrives.

Estimate is still 15th.

Amazon fr have still not sent it but at least the estimate is still the 15th...

Is there any kind soul wanting to lend me one of those codes by any chance!?

Out of interest, any pictures of said queue?

Also, you get a standard key as well in the CE? o.O

Blizz have said if you buy the digital edition while waiting for your CE to arrive. You can register the CE code on your account and then contact customer support for a spare standard key which you can do whatever you want with.

No but there are some on the D3's official event facebook page. I had to get a move on or I'd miss my train back to Surbiton XD

That was 5/6 hours ago according to FB. It's not like that now.

Well my play order was created in Jun 2008 (4 years ago!) and mine is yet to leave the warehouse - very very very unimpressed by their customer service yet again. Looks like Tesco will be the go to company now for PC preorder games, seen as they can get it out with plenty of time to spare.

Would be great if there was more Diablo 3 talk and less delivery/dispatch talk in a Diablo thread.

How many of you will be playing your first play-through with someone or going solo?

I'm kind of guessing you'll be able to jump in and out of coop as you want. I'll start of playing solo, because I don't want to be too much of a hindrance (being completely new to Diablo), but after a couple of hours/a day I'll probably log into the mumble game and see who's around...

What a bunch of muppets. Had my D3 order dropped through the letterbox on Sat while I was tucked up cosy in a nice soft bed and they're sleeping in tents on concrete.

Doing it wrong.

Will be co-oping with the wife from the get go :D We played the **** out of D2 back in the day.

Well as it hasn't been released yet and we've had nearly 5k posts so far it's hardly surprising that the most recent talk is about delivery. It's natural and is the same in all big game pre-release threads!

I'll be playing Solo probably but I belong to a SC2 clan that has a lot of people getting D3 and I wouldn't shy away from playing with friends also.

Going to launch events is more than just about getting the game, you meet new people, get to take part in the giveaways, get your D3 signed etc etc...

Yeah, just found that pic xD And as in much more?
Also, you might want to change link to: http://i.imgur.com/XG0Bn.jpg
Can't remember if FB counts as Hotlinking...

Yes, quite a lot more. There's supposedly only 700 copies in total (Standard and CE) available.

I've decided to do the first run through on normal solo (all 4 acts) just because I don't want to feel rushed to keep up with the killing if people skip dialogue/cinematics and get used to the general lay out of the game without just following people. Then for nightmare I'll probably do it all in groups, as I found it most enjoyable in beta - nothing like 4x the carnage, plus as a WD I felt it complemented strong aoe dd's as they have a lot of CC options.
