Seems I was correct in my assertion of starter editions attached to closed beta participants' accounts - don't need to wait 30 days for SE to go live at all. Also huge lol at the lot of you queens crying that you can't log in on launch night (or better yet, demanding an offline crack - you'd need to play on a non-blizz server and even then you'd need to connect to it so you're stuck in a logic loop :P). The entire European player base is logging in at the same time - server connection errors were bound to happen. Anyhow, off to work for me. With some luck my CE will be home when I get back.

Ha! I guess that means I could have played last night? I was in the beta, so I can see the SE on my account, so last night at 11 I was trying to log in and I saw it actually authenticate me but then said servers were busy, so I went to bed. I thought that if I didn't have any access to the game it should have failed at authentication, so I guess I was actually being authorised to play, but the servers were simply overloaded.

Aww ****. My old girls skint and can't pick the game up from Cardiff for me. :(

Gonna have to see if i can travel to Newport tonight and hope it's still in stock somewhere.

How much is the game in ASDA and Tesco? Is it different from the online prices of £32 or whatever it was?

No game shops in me **** little town but my old girls gone to Cardiff, Hereford or Newport this morning so might get her to pick it up for me and i chuck her the money. Need to see how much the CE is, if it's not too much more i may get her to get that if it's in stock for eventual sell-on value - right now all i care about is getting the game though. :)

£34.97 in Asdas and tesco

This save system is getting on my ****ing nerves >.<

I keep exploring the whole of an area and then at some point before a checkpoint it'll lag out and kick me back to the character selection. I'll go back and the map will be fog of war'd again -_-

From the beta, after running it a dozen times, i thought that the maps just basically turned around, so you were doing it from a different angle basically, so it just looked different, so the maps do actually change?

well yeah, disappointingly, the maps really don't vary that much. Rock placement and the locations of dens etc seem to be the only thing which vary greatly.

The general scenery stays the same so an overhead map would look no different every time but dens/merchants/dungeons pop up in diff locations.
