I'll only post something if the teaching format seems to work. At the moment I'm not totally convinced it's really possible to learn from reading something.

I agree although that isn't bad from the point of view that it's explained reasonably well. I do not understand, however, the discrepancies between difference explanations of various positions in oly lifting. It doesn't make sense :/

U_E, what sort of competitive lifting are you thinking of doing?

Strongman m8, went down to ceredigions strongest man in carmarthen earlier this year couldnt rep with the big boys but the lifts werent beyond me log press 110kg 230kg dead for reps (hammer grip straps allowed) atlas stones farmers walk etc looked real fun

Awesome, I'd be interested in your training if you do write about it.

I've been tempted by u90kg strongman, but I think I need to do one thing at a time.
 
27. Women can deliver babies easier by having control of the creation of intraabdominal pressure, a strong pelvic floor, and can survive the rigours of delivery with fewer soft tissue injuries by having a strong deadlift prior to third trimester, and those who are very strong prior to conception will likely deliver a baby that slaps the hell out of the doctor and changes their own diapers. That’s science.

yeah im certainly going to blog as it will focus me whether or not i compete, right now im just cleaning up the diet and trying to get back to the hardcore regimen i used to follow. Will keep you (all) posted
 
Annoying chest session. Went to the gym with the sole intention of getting in lots of volume and left wishing I had just gone for a PB without fatiguing myself. Last rep only needed a slight tap to get it moving again :(
