Does anyone fine themselves not wanting to party up? I find if you use the public feature most people appear to skip majority of the content / steam ahead. I know everyone plays differently but it's just an observation.
:mad::mad: this always ****es me off,

this is what i do, played ACT1 as solo,

then i reached ACT2, stopped

I repplayed ACT1 as COOP for more money and more leveling :)

cheers will have a look when go on the game later

No worries mate. It's really easy by the looks of it.

Any magic items you collect while out killing can be used at the blacksmith's tent. You need to Salvage them, which basically means destroying them in order to extract materials to use to craft your own gear.
It can get expensive though, but it's worth it :)

This game is a big let down.

I love your reasoning.... but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As a long time D1 / D2 player my expectations were:

Swarms of bad guys... Check
RSI inducing clicking... Check
Lots of loot... Check
The urge to explore every corner of the map... Check
Great and easy coop play... Check

Bonuses were:

Crafting - really like this feature and has the same random chance of getting a good item as farming mobs.

Auction house - really good feature that will be even better when it settles down. (not talking RMAH).

Im a wizard at the moment, now, does the weapon damage effect my magical abilities? i know inteligence adds towards abilit damage. but does the physical DPS from a weapon improve that too?

maybe in need to enable advanced tool tips

Yup, skills are based off of weapon damage. Definitely turn on advanced tooltips

This isn't a spoiler as such as it may be on the advanced tooltips...(i dont have the game to check)
From what i've read every point in intelligence for an int based class adds 1% to your weapon damage. So a character with 300 int gets a 300% bonus to weapon damage

I played Co-Op with a mate last night for a couple of hours. It was great, but he was progressing much faster than me so I decided to leave the game.
When I resumed my own game I appeared right back where I left his game. I assume I have to re start the quest I left when I joined him?

What happens if you're playing co-op and some of you want to romp through the level but others want to hang back and explore? Who determines movement through the maps?

try to play it as solo first, enjoy the game, then jump on COOP after unlocking next difficulty. or go back to the unlocked ACT and replay it for further upgrades before going solo again...

I'm playing normal solo for exactly that reason, most people want to rush. After I've gone through all the story my way, then I'll start grouping up.
