This is my level 16 Demon Hunter setup for the moment.

Only recently changed to Bola shot with volatile explosives as seems to be doing some nice splash damage now. Otherwise I felt Entangling shot with chain gang was indispensable for slowing down mobs so that I could grind them down.

Rapid fire is awesome for boss battles or tricky situations when you get overwhelmed.

I cannot see the point of invisibility, the back-flip produced a greater ability to evade attacks and also allowed me to quickly set a snare trap before back vaulting away and then spamming my primary attack.

I have 4 of my main skills all assigned to mouse buttons so it feels really slick.

Lol, the banter between your character and the followers (+ temporary followers) is awesome.

Enchantress: Its like your my elder sister
Female Wizard: Just don't ask me for advice on men
Enchantress: What? No! Er, I wasn't! Nothing like that!

This game is absolutely amazing.

Barbarian + lots of mobs = the most fun in a video game for a very long time.

This ^

Was reading the amount of nerd rage on the D3 forums last night and didn't expect to be able to get on an EU server. Got logged in on the third attempt and it was rock solid after that.

Played co-op with my bro - him with a Barbarian and me with a Wizard. No lag or stuttering at all despite the amount of body parts and pyrotechnics flying about the screen, given that my gaming machine is nowhere near the spec of some in this thread.

We went for maximum XP, literally scouring each area for anything to kill - ended up killing the Skeleton King and with about 12,000 gold. Bro logged off just after 1am, while I started a monk alt and played for a further hour solo.

The game is absolute carnage and as you say, the most out-and-out sheer unadulterated fun I've had in a video game for ages. Something very therapeutic about playing as a monk and smacking things in the face with your bare fists :D ...

I was so annoyed with the templar because i crafted a one handed axe for my templar using the blacksmith and it was a kick ass axe dps 18 with loads of magic properties and it would not accept the axe. But i already had a one handed axe on the templar so no idea why this one did not work. probably some crazy restriction on crafted items for followers or something. Just a warning if anyone thinks of crafting weapons for your followers

Given that its a crafted weapon...

Did you check the level req?

Some of the Wizards spells later on are sweet. Unlocked Disintegrate earlier... arcaney/red beam of death? Yeah I think I might use that.

Want to ask a few basic questions about stats on weapons.

A quick cut and paste from an old weapon my Witch Doctor was using.
Does the actual damage of the weapon only come into play when you hit the weapon with it? Do any abilities use these stats?
As for the blue stats below, does the "+2-4 cold damage" only increase spells/abilities that cause cold damage, or does it add a cold damage component to all attacks?

PLaying as a Monk at the moment, actuallly quite enjoying the class as I was going to go for demon hunter but a friend picked it and they seem a bit OP at the moment.

graphics wise im slightly dissapointed but gameplay so far with 3 friends has been excellent, cannot wait for the harder modes :D

The cold damage only applies if you hit with the weapon.
The only thing you get from the weapons unless you actually use the weapon are the +stats like intellect for a WD.

didnt touch the beta or read anyhtinig about this to keep it all fresh for my first play through but i thought the skeleton king was the 1st act boss, its going on forever!
