I'm getting mild stuttering when new sound effects are played.

Also, I have this issue where sometimes - usually just after loads of 'Physics stuff' has happened - the game remains at 60 fps, but feels like it's 'slow-mo'd' down to half frame rate, like it's skipping every second frame and running at 30fps. This slow-mo issue is easily remedied by alt tabbing out and in, but I hear there are some people who are permanently affected by it.

The graphics definitely aren't great.. It's the characters that bug me. I look at my barb and think... God I wish I could import the skyrim graphics onto him. I can cope with the landscape, I just wish the characters were better.

I get a bit of stuttering, but have now turned down my foreground FPS to 60 (god knows why the game set it any higher... it enable v sync and set my Foreground FPS to 60 and my background FPS to 8... WTF...) It tends to be when skeles break out of tombs or the such like for me. (GTX 480)

3 hrs 35 into my Barb. I'm finding him great fun. Just killed the Skeleton King. Level 10.

Took me a while to realise the Smith could only break down magical items xD.

Barb is an absolute god, he just absorbs damage somehow... xD
Had a kill streak of 68 earlier. Greatly amused me :) Didn't use any potions whilst killing said Skeleton King either. I feel it'll be more fun/challenging on nightmare etc.. but still enjoying it so far :)

Only had one notably rare drop so far. Sold all my normal stuff to the merchant, and smelted anything magical.

But yeah, enjoying it. :) Once I've gone through normal I might look into teaming up in a coop, but still unsure.

Didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I am, the graphics are decent rather than great but the overall style is awesome (D3Dark improves things as well) and whilst it's pretty simple gameplay I can't stop myself playing it.

I like the fact you can change your character at will rather than being stuck with powers that sounded good but turn out to be useless. There are certainly parts that cater to the casual player but there seems plenty to get stuck into, I can see myself going through to level 60 with at least 3 characters so I should get a good few months of gaming :)

Heh, I remember looking through the skill guide trying to figure out what I'd use. Safe to say what I thought I'd use isn't even close.

Never thought I'd use Shock Pulse (because its ****) but with Explosive Bolts it synergised quite well with Electrocute and other DoT effects, at least early game. Thought I'd be using Arcane Orb, not used it since I got Disintegrate. Now that I'm fighting on open ground I've dropped Slow Time because I found I never really used it.

I think something needs to be stressed for followers. They seem to gain FAR more from attribute buffs than the game lets on. That or there special equip grants more. I just came across an extremely good focus for my Enchantress that had 90 intel on it (twice what I've found on any other item prior to this point) and when I gave it her, her intel went up WAY more than 90 and her damage increased from 23 to 52!

I noticed it got a lot harder towards the end of Normal. Though I think I was focused too much on dealing damage and lacked vitality to stay alive with :9

Well just completed it on normal, took quite a long time in hours played.

I explored every single nook and cranny, left no part of the map undiscovered in both the world and dungeons, listed to every bit of lore and had a bloody good ol' blast.

I had a quick peak at Nightmare and the yellow/purple elites hit like trucks. I think tomorrow will be fun!

That's me done for the night though now!

Haha at the moment I'm trying to boost my Magic find/Gold find as much as possible...

I have got a few pieces of armour sitting around though with vitality on them, so they're kind of ready for if I need them...

Out of interest, what difficulty do you start to get the blacksmith pages?

Forgot to say, my biggest hate about this game is the moving with mouse... I want WASD :(

Yep... same here mate.

Don't know if you saw my post from the other night but I believe I was the other guy in Hanley Tesco waiting at the self service with you. :p

I made that mistake in act 2 when things suddenly started hitting a lot harder (when they do 50-100 and you have 500hp things can go **** up fast) so I started looking for vitality on a couple of items instead of intelligence. Was much easier with 1500hp.

Also my other big mistake until late act 3 was finally stopping using those useless minor/lesser/regular health potions. When an enemy hits you for 600 and you have 1500hp, healing yourself for 250 was stupid.

Got to go to bed for work tomorrow :( on quest 3 on Act III, level 27. Absolutely loving my demon hunter! Although I am not getting very good luck on drops, could be because I am still on normal though :) Loving this game, its like crack but not as bad for you :P

Pre-ordered with Tesco 21 months ago, yet 48 hours after the game has gone live I'm still waiting for my copy to be delivered....

- Website ordering tracking stated it was scheduled for dispatch on the 14th.
- Yet on the morning of the 15th it was still 'awaiting dispatch'.
- Spoke to Tesco CS @ 14:30 on the 15th, and was told that it'd been dispatched by courier and I could expect delivery as late as 7pm that evening.
- @ 16:40 on the 15th I received an apology email which stated it'd been dispatched "today, 14th May 2012". by Royal Mail 1st class.
- @ 17:05 on the 15th I received the standard dispatch confirmation email stating the order had been dispatched on the 15th.

Tesco are a bunch of incompetent lying bstrds.

I ordered mine about a month before release from Tesco's and i got it 3 days before release, and on top of that they haven't even charged me yet. :p

For people having slo-mo issues. Try raising your background framerate limit. Dunno why this would fix it, but a few people are saying it does? Gonna try myself soon.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5150756093

I just unchecked both options. Didn't really fix it for me though.

I think most of the time people are under the placebo affect with these types of thing.

Still have a feeling it's something server side...

I'm going to try increasing BG FPS to 60. It should sync up with vSync then and will be the same as FG. I can't see it creating any issues. The 480 eats through it anyway, maxed out at something like 81C...

Was funny when I moved to Nightmare. I started dying. A lot.

There were a lot more elites as well, and they own you if you're not paying attention.
