how rare are the legendarys?

Been cooping with a friend, onto Act 2 nightmare. Had 3 drop so far, and all of them from different kinds of destructibles - boxes, bodies etc.

All of them were pretty terrible too.

Nightmare seems to be a little bit of a step up. Biggest differences are definitely rares / champions, some affixes are absolutely lethal.

Damn ppl are getting through too quick. Ive had to boost 2 of my slacker friends so ive ended up doing 1st act 3times and 2nd twice :/. Its waaay more fun with friends on TS tho so if ure playing it solo then i uggest STOP right now and find a group : ).

Bought and installed last night

Only a few hours in and is kinda fun but graphics seem a but meh to
Me ? Not as crisp or hi res as I would have expected (I'm running iit at max settings)

Graphics are a let down IMO, lots of things are smudgy and blurred, giving that rushed cartoony feel.

Gameplay is alright though, typical hack and slash (I'm playing as barb :p)

Just killed Skele king, so probably about 2/3 of the way through the game knowing Blizz.

Finally got my WD playstyle down to a nice smooth and easy rotation with a **** ton of DPS to boot!!!

So, my rotation is as follows:

Place GotD in mob group > run in shout SH > run out and place AC > followed by firebats

Anything left remaining after this I just pick off with fire bomb main or more acid cloud!

Using my gargantum zombie summon, tanks better then my mates level 30 barb!!! lol.

Basically, GotD (Grasp of the dead) is a AoE slow, with a rune it's 80% slow, which is AWSOME for group mobs as its also DoT. Then SH (Sould Harvest) stacks up to 5, which easily doubles my DPS (last night it was like 320dps... at level 24!!!), this lasts for 30 seconds until you shout it again. After that, I try to run out, but not much point most of the time, I use Acid Cloud which is a DoT AoE skill, TONS of damage. By this point, most mobs are well past 50% HP and losing HP fast, for I just hold Firebats down and spin in a circle (as I said, mostly stay in the middle of mobs). All this takes about 5 second max.

I was playing with my mates last night, 3 of us in total, act III, they went AFK to eat, I was soloing fine without any worries at all, wasn't even taking it easy!!! Rushing into anything I could see to try and see if I would struggle lol.

LOVING the WD and Diablo 3 :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I wasn't expecting the graphics to look so cartoony or lowered either quite a disappointment in that respect

I reckon they'd run fine on my pc graphics card that I sold 3 years ago lol

I'm surprised how many people are disappointed by the graphics. It's not like we've not been being given screenshots for years. :o

Diablo was always going to be about gameplay, then story, then graphics a distant last place.

Those of you talking about Magic Find items, don't bother until you are 60.

You needed 1000-1200% for it to be a noticeable difference.

Also, no point making a MF build unless you play an AoE orientated class.

I'm finding cleave to make barbarian really easy so far. Only normal mode so far but things just fall down in large groups. Also things don't seem to hurt. I've not had to use a health potion once and I don't even recall my health dropping below 75%.

Why AOE class? I understood it that MF stats were shared between the group?

Just wait for NM, going to get very interesting :)

Not sure if it's shared...?

Just saw this though http://www.diablowiki.net/Nephalem_Valor

Anyone know if this was actually implemented?

And AoE class because it's easier to just farm and farm and farm.

This is how it was in D2 anyway, maybe it's changed!

Either way, can't wait to hit 60 and get loot hunting!!!!!

EDIT: Seems MF is shared between people. Not sure what to think about that. Say I have 700% MF and someone joins my game with no MF, I now have 350% MF and so does he. Hummmm.

Ok fair enough but was expecting it as a minimum
To look crisp and sharp. ATM it looks like I am running at a lower res than native

At least it gives me a game k can play in my integrated hd4000 whilst I rma my gtx480

Well given the development time, sorry for expecting a little more than what we got.
