I managed to do Act 1 last night on normal.....I cant understand how people completed this game in 12hrs.

I litterally blazed it from 6pm till 11pm, as my Mrs was out and I just managed to do Act 1.

The cinematic was was awesome!

It's because they're probably just running straight to the objectives instead of exploring.

poor show for them giving someone free access to the game for a significant time period? yeh poor show....give me a break

why doesnt your mate just buy it.

Because he can't afford to just buy a game just to test it. That's the point of the starter edition. In fact that's the point of any demo. Can't believe I am even having to point this out...

Should I level up blacksmithing for use in higher difficulties, or should I just use gold on the AH for items?

I've got so many things saying one or the other.

Found my first legendary. Low level 2 handed barbarian sword - not much use for my monk! Checked AH and there's loads of them for sale! Bah - stuck it on anyway.

I'm jealous of you guys. Ordered for amazon and paid extra for next day delivery (get it on release they said). Tuesday I realise it's going to my parents house :( It's still not there. :(

I can't even download the client so when it does finally arrive I won't have to wait for that. :(

This game is a £25 title and that's what i'd pay

Agreed it came free with my wow subscription and is great fun but no way would I pay more than £30 quid for it

I think that's pretty harsh in reality, what with the current pricing models of games across all platforms. The supermarkets generally sell at the lowest prices, but even then you are talking ~£30 for the average xbox/ps3/pc game.

For example I got the new SSX when it came out, it was ~£35 and it lasted less than 10 hours of gameplay (not including online), for nostalgia reasons I got the MGS Collection the other day for my PS3, again it was ~£30, taking into account all 3 games, I'm only looking at around 30-40 hours gameplay.

Diablo 3 is incredible value for money, if anything it is priced quite low (excluding Blizz's online digital pricing which was considerably higher than most retailers).

I got my CE from here at a high price, but I don't regret it in the slightest, it will bring me hours of entertainment for months and months to come. Comparing that to what I would waste on an average night out, D3 CE was cheap.

Is there any benefit in using monk-only weapons for my monk or am I better simply equipping the highest DPS piece of kit I can??

I'm currently using two of those spikey-fist thingy's but have a sword with a higher DPS!

For Demon Hunter players that have unlocked all 4 primary skills, which is your preference and why? Also state if you think a particular ruin is a better combo.

Find myself going back to Entangling shot with shock collar added.

Bola shot is quite cool but the 1 second delay on it exploding, feels really long in game. You cannot hit the same target for any damage with bola until the 1st shot as exploded.

Grenades felt weak and and very basic.

Hungering arrow is quite decent but I find larger groups getting too close for comfort to me.

I'm only 18 still but love my DH. Still not unlocked my 4th slot yet. Im using bola for primary as I need something that has AoE. My secondary though lives with rapid fire. Love that skill. I use vault main for getting around quicker. Spikes for slowing enemies and evasive shot which I keep forgetting to use!

I was really upset to see no Amazon in D3 however this DH has made up for it. Really happy with the class.

You can... Log into the battlenet site, download client... Sure you don't need a guest pass at least to do this.

Finished normal on a 2 handed polearm Barb last night. Took 18 hours over 2 days off from work. Great fun, game feels polished. Only had one instance of rubberbanding when I logged out and restarted at 8 last night.

Took me about 15 hours playtime to complete normal mode, with 3 other friends, that includes exploring every other route/dungeon.

I quite liked it, altho it's far too easy in normal, some of the bosses literally take about 15 seconds to kill with no tactics required other than smash smash.

Started on nightmare, seems like the difficulty is ramped up quite nicely, so the old girl may still have life in her yet :P

can't say I've touched it, don't even know what it looks like. will think about using it when I start struggling for either gold of gear

I dunno going by the sound of it there's a lot of chance to find cheap rares that might be good. Guess I should check it out.

Dang I should probably use it for gems by the looks of it. Seems a great way to pick up the odd one for combining purposes or to just skip straight to a higher tier.

Pretty annoyed at the guest passes. I gave my mate one and went to play with him. Turns out paid accounts can't play with starter accounts. Poor show Blizzard, poor show.

Yeah! I was expecting to fed and watered, massaged and offered a hand job from Blizzard whilst I played, I've not heard a peep - poor show indeed!
