Have there been any statistics released from blizzard showing what the most popular classes are?

Thinking of playing a a demon hunter but i dont want to find out everybody else on the planet is playing it :p

see im a complete hoarder nut, i gather absolutely every single piece of loot which drops, greys an all.

I then tp back and forth to my home selling off the rubbish and salvaging any blues.

I also make a point of dropping stuff into my stash chest which will be of use to my alts so in that sense im playing diablo as a refuse collector!

Woot!

Have you actually looked at how much you're selling your greys and whites for?

It's like 4g per item? :p You could sell a bag full of gear, then TP back, and hit two mobs to get the same amount earned.

You'll make far less gold if you're constantly going back and forth to vendor white items. Time in town = time not killing, and when they're not dieing, they're not dropping gold and magics. :p

current tactic is to run around trying to stay alive while dropping hydra.

Thats what I did actually. Lightning Hydra wasn't too bad for damage as it turned out so I focused on keeping that active and activating Diamond Skin whenever I needed to and occasionally throwing out a Wave of Force to stun him. With some Disintegrate now and again for short bursts.

Might try him again with a more arcane orientated build. Arcane Torrent w/ Disruption to increase all damage done by Arcane. Arcane Hydra. Magic Missile. Familiar and Energy Twister (bit unreliable though), plus Archon.

usually around 5-10k an item, it depends, but i have a really high skill level in blacksmith so i make a lot of yellow items and sell for good prices, i usually just sell at random prices because if i sell for anything over 1.5k its usually a profit.

Sounds like you're playing a completely different game to me!?

I have maxed the Blacksmith on normal, the cost of crafting an item is many times higher than what I can sell it to a merchant for?

Interesting to see how things have changed.

I've noticed you can only respawn a boss by resetting your progress. Does that mean if I want to re-run The Butcher on Normal, that I will have to reset my progress right back to then, and re-run act 2,3 and 4 again to run the later bosses on Normal??

Seems a bit odd. Will this see an end to endless Diablo runs on the harder difficulties to get good items??

Having played D2 , is D3 really worth it? Friends at work have this too and said about the real money auction house which i thought was interesting indeed.

Stuttering has started again now... :(

Is their a chance this could be hardware related? My PC should be plenty good enough though right?

i5 2500 3.3GHz
8GB DDR3
5850 1GB

This game really needs a better chat system, would have been great to start a OcUK chan ingame to help teaming up. I'm having a bit of trouble with my monk on act 2 nightmare, most stuff I can deal with but then there is packs of mobs that just own me and are impossible to kill, and every time I've tried to join a public game I've been put with idiots.
