You know you can just hold left click to move right? Someone else was doing it and didn't even know, saved an aching finger :P

Was waiting for someone to say that :)

I actually did figure that out today, I only realised I clicked so much on that boss when I watched it back on Youtube.

But yeah, cheers for the heads up. I do usually just hold it down!

I don't get the auction house, the 'sell value' of the times is a few hundred yet they're selling for thousands, sometimes tens of thousands?

Do we ignore the sell price when we place items for auction?

It even says buyout price is optional. Personally though I have no interest in items without a buyout. What is the point in bidding for an item that closes in hours/days when by that time I'll have levelled beyond its usefulness? And the number of items with a stupid buyout price is kinda silly.

Just glanced around for a new bow/quiver for my DH. Limited it to lv10-13, required dexterity and exp per kill, 1000 max buyout. Picked up a couple of decent items for less than 1k each. A merchant selling it would be several times that at least.

My Barbs level 31, just completed normal difficulty so now I'm on the next one up.

Anyone got suggestions on what sort of build I should have using elective mode?

Cheers

Definitely going to use the AH and keep checking it from now on.

Completely forgot it was there. 15k for a legendary fist for my monk. Not going to bother right now but that doesn't seem too bad when you compare it with vendors.

Will probably pimp myself out when I head to the next difficulty setting.

It'll definitely get heavy use on repeat playthroughs. First character has to spend loads of money on the artisans to keep them up to speed as you progress through the difficulties but the other characters have nothing extra to spend it on.

Finished nightmare mode, last boss was pretty easy and did not drop a single yellow item. Really the only hard enemies in this game are the elites and champs.

Started hell mode game and my goodness those elites are hard, normal packs take time to deal with too, actually require me to use healing abilities quite often (im monk)

My wizard keeps dying (level 27) and i'm only on normal act 3. The barb (my mate i'm playing with) seems to die much less and does so much more damage than me.

Oddly its the other way round for me, take much more dmg on barb than on wiz. :O

Just got to act 3, hardest boss so far as been Butcher lol. Im lvl 24 I think, disintegrate is awesome.

Just a heads up for those who like me found it a little too cartoon like/blury and not gritty enough, try of these filters, you can even get it darker looking like D2 etc.

Simple to use and you can toggle it on/off also to see the difference.

Check the detail on characters in pics below, especially the Templar in foreground:-

Demon Hunters. 1 or 2 hand Crossbows? Or just go with whichever offers the most DPS?

Just killed Skeleton King btw :)

And just found out about elective mode as well. Could be very useful later on.

Anyone else getting random slowdowns? Like the FPS counter would say 60 but it feels like 20-30fps for a few seconds at a time. I've tried several different drivers and it's maddening. I didn't have this issue in the beta.

Hugeee pictures :P

But although they look really nice I'd be careful using them as there was a statement made by Blizzard that the darkd3 one is against the rules and you can be banned. I am assuming its the same with these as well.

Yep. It's like it randomly enables double vsync, and slows down to half refresh rate fps, yet the fraps counter still says 60. If you use the in-game counter (ctrl-r), however, it shows the fps number flickering really weirdly.

I get exactly this. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

This. Are people really failing to head the massive warnings they're repeatedly giving?

Blizzard Mod said:
All mods are in violation of the Diablo III Terms of Use and can result in your account being permanently banned. Use at your own risk, and also in this case, eye-strain.

(We really don't want to see Diablo III become trashed with hacks like Diablo II was, which is why we've taken this absolute stance on D3 mods. You can mod World of Warcraft as much as you want within reason, and you can use StarCraft 2's editor to create nearly anything you'd like, but we need to keep mods out of Diablo III.)

Just about at Act 4 on Nightmare now on my Wizard, still finding it a bit easy, hope Hell is a good challenge. Only things I die from now are bad abilities combos on rare mobs, like Mortar + Frozen / Jailor.
