Before the lag, I was easily slaying hordes of 20+ spiders with a simple right click

Only their hits were registering and my wizard died. Not impressed.

It's when lag dumps you back into an elite mob over and over it gets annoying. Not actually died from it yet though fortunately :)
 
Ive just realised i have made my DH on the americans server! And when i log into EU i cant play it! Doh, Any way i can move it? or should i just start again?
 
Was playing this for hours last night. lvl 15 barb. Was really annoying when this guy was skipping all the dialogue. I guess its best to play through the game on your own first. This guy must've been going through it again with a second char.

I forgot how addictive Diablo is.
 
I think the game badly needs a combat log of sorts. Playing on Inferno its so easy to die from full health, would be nice to know what had killed you.

They're pink... How do I return stuff to it's natural colour? xD

Oh, and what do people do with rares they get but don't need? BS or sell (AH or merchant?)

All the rares I've been getting, if they're not an upgrade, I throw up on the auction house for 10k each.
 
Tell me about: Diablo 3

Played Diablo 2 years ago, was good, seen that there is a new one out.

Seems it will run OK on my laptop which is an i7 2630 2ghz, 4gb ram, Radeon HD6570 it doesn't say if it is or isn't supported on the Blizzard site.

I have read you need an internet connection all of the time, can you only play online with other players, or is there a single player mode which just requires a connection to verify your copy is legal? I don't have hours and hours to play online doing dungeons with other people online, so it would be nice to be able to play so far and save to come back to it.

My broadband is between 2-4mb normally down, 512kb up and is a pretty stable connection, would this be OK?
 
I'm getting so many drop now I just vendor them. Need the gold for repairs..

Yes. That doesn't help you know if it was Physical/school of magic damage if the mob has multiple attacks.

Fair enough.

My mates actually getting well into the story and he hasn't even played the first 2 Diablos. We've just got to Act 4 so i guess it's time to show him those lore recap vids. :)
 
Which followers are people using the most? I like the Templar for keeping my squishy wizard healed, but I prefer the banter from the scoundral.

Also does the scoundral flirt with the player if you play a female character? :D
 
Just got mine for 99p, or should I say £26.48. Still not too bad considering game are now charging £45
 
I've only got the SE but i'll answer where I can.

From what I can tell, it's quite fair on low spec machines, but obviously you'll be turning settings down to keep it all chugging away.

You need a constant connection - but currently the problem is at Blizzard's end, not yours. Their servers have had a bad time over the past few days coping with the extra load and i'm still getting odd lag spikes. Your connection should be fine though.

I'm not certain about the MP aspect so i'll leave that to someone else.
 
Anyone come across the farmer and hes wife in the rocking chair? it made me lol. Didn't see it in normal, must be because of he randomly generated maps.

Yep i came across that on normal. And I also found it very amusing, she looked a tad worse for wear. :)
 
I just found my 1st legendary on ACT IV normal. Leorics Crown. The stats are utter pap :(

Normal done now with Barb, must say he was incredibly fun to play, steam rolled through everything. All bosses dropped in seconds with frenzy+earthquake.

Time to try another class :)
