Today is the first day I'm going to get to sit down and properly have a crack at this. Even moved the coffee machine upstairs specially.
 
Well finishe dthe first "level" with my guest pass as a demon hunter, just srarted with berserker which im not enjoying as much...going to max level all characters out before i decide wether to go on and buy the full game, willw ait for it to come down in price a tad though unless im craving so much for more :p

I'd beat the skeleton king certainly but if you mean reach lvl13 on all characters that's just gonna bore you. Lvl10-13 is only a taste anyway. Demon Hunter is enjoyable early on but when you get access to Chakrams (if you happen to like attacks that frequently miss the intended target ;)), Multishot, Elemental Arrow its a completely different ball game.

I have. Lost about 220k in gold, all items and chars still intact. I still seriously doubt my account was actually compromised but changed everything anyway. Indications are that playing public games is really risky as you only need to have played with the hacker. That rings true for me as the first public game I played was for 15 minutes yesterday morning and when I logged in in the afternoon the gold was gone..

That sucks! I have an authenticator tied to my account from WoW. Maybe they are worth investing in if you don't have one!
 
Anyone had the 'can't find achievements' error? If so, how'd you solve it?

Also, quite glad I've got an authenticator right now xD

Yeah, browsing the forums, it seems can't find achievements error is common for quite a few people... hoping it won't mean I don't not get achievements if I do them though...

Its strong sure but it seems that a 60% slow will barely do anything to elites/champions. Even with the 80% slow rune they get out reasonably fast. As for the regular foes, Elemental Arrow + Ball Lightning and Multishot + Hail of Arrows provide massive area effect damage, easily enough for nightmare level mobs, with the Caltrops still retaining its usefulness for elites/champions. Still, I'm only early act I atm but I don't really see that changing.
 
Went to bed at 3am this morning, having got all my alts past the Skeleton King on normal at the very least.

From the monk, demon hunter and witch doctor, I would say favourite at the minute is the monk - I bought him a couple of rare fist weapons off the AH and his damage and attack speed, already pretty amazing, is now absolutely insane ... packs of mobs are dropping like flies. I know those with higher level toons are thinking :rolleyes:, but this char was only level 4 this time yesterday and the difference over 6 levels since is awesome.

That said, I can see myself happily levelling all of them as they're all destructive in their own way.

Has the bug been fixed that made the game crash if you gave the Templar a new shield? Just had a quick look through the Tech Support forum on the D3 website and didn't see it mentioned ...
