Wait a minute, no-one died in last night's episode did they? and there was only one sex scene and it wasn't gratuitous.

Edit: nm - just remembered about the Lannister guards who were killed during Arya's escape.

Stunned by the number of times they used "that" word on one episode. Really good ep IMO. Was starting to get a bit meh.

I'm reading the 4th book and to be honest, apart from the odd decent chapter the whole story is starting to drag IMO.

A random camp follower compared to a Lord's daughter.

Anyway their relationship was perfectly believable in the books

As for not important in the books?! She's a major catalyst for events to come.
She wasn't even really in the book was she? Nor Robb. They just sort of rock up together.

Also a random camp follower compared to a random Lord's daughter he briefly meets doesn't make a big difference. They've also established she's of noble birth.

Can't say too much more but the new girl will be just as much as a catalyst as in the book.
Honestly don't think it's a change worth worrying about. Think most changes they've done have made sense with where I think they are trying to go.

The only change I can't agree on (but maybe later depending on how they do his arc I'll change my mind) was Jaime killing his cousin. Not that I don't think book Jaime wouldn't have done the same... they just didn't have to put him in that situation.

I found it odd that they went to all the effort of Jamie killing his cousin and failing an escape, only to have him released in the next episode anyway. Should have left the former out tbh.

You seemed to have missed a bit.

He also killed the guard, who was the son of a powerful Lord. That family was demanding Jamie's head which would have doomed the Stark girl's hence why Catelyn did what she did. So if he didn't escape he would never have been released.

I'm rather confused, the person Ayra is with, the blacksmith, and Jamie's cousin whom he killed both look exactly the same?

In the first episode I thought that they had recast the actor as they looked so alike!

I can't see it, then again i reckognise them both from previous roles the Blacksmith was Chris in Skins S1 and 2 and Jamies cousin was Rob Sugden in Emmerdale. For the record I am slightly embarrassed to know about Emmerdale :p

Well anyway, i was kind of coming round to thinking that the main reason Robb wouldn't ally himself with Stannis would be because of Brienne, but now that he doesn't trust Catelyn i don't see why not.
