Heh, sorry, wasn't trying to come across as so dismissive. It should be a mark of quality that it's even worth pointing out that Tangled is not as good as BatB. I mean, you wouldn't even bother to say that, for example, The Emperor's New Groove or Lilo and Stitch isn't as good as BatB.

Mongol

Utter drivel and I usually like this sort of film. Just flat out a stinker of a movie, it didn't flow at all cohesively, and curiously it felt like it dragged on even though the pacing was going at 100 mph.

Very odd generally rushed feeling to the film, it didnt work for me at all. Avoid.

I went to see THe Dictator, best comedy in years and I am glad I decided to go and see it instead of American Pie.

The Descendants 6/10 - Not Bad

Hesher 7/10 - Different to what I was expecting, still good though, great performances from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Natalie Portman.

More of the same, but with less comedy and more focus on relationships.

The Dictator

Very disappointing to be honest, not as many laugh out loud moments as i thought there would be.

It really didnt bring anything fresh to the table in my opinion, which was a bit annoying as i was looking forward to this one.

I would give this a very generous 5.5/10, simply because it was mercifully short.

Senna - I had heard really good reports on this film and i was not disappointed.
I didn't realise just how good a driver he was.

Heat - I am probably in a real minority but I did not find this cops and robbers film that good, even if it did have De Niro and Pacino in it. I remember not being that impressed when it first came out after all of the hype and now watching it again I felt pretty much the same. Maybe it has been copied a lot since but it just felt quite formulaic and OTT. 2/5

Yes, really. I don't like the film. I will not deny there were good bits in it but overall it was too long and the gun battle after the bank job was way OTT, I know they got Andy McNabb in there to advise but the police shooting off that many rounds into a busy road was ludicrous. Also the way the nice bookshop assistant sticks with De Niro (after only a few days knowing him) after she pretty much finds out he is a serial criminal was poor.

Not a fan. Sorry Vonhelmet.

Chronicle - Started out really good but lost it towards the end.
Character development was not the best and as such never connected to any of the characters, otherwise its a good film well worth watching.

last samurai is a good film (cinematography is superb). just not a good samurai film

its not a bad film. it just isnt as great as some people say. i guess thats the problem with hype.

I read that it got slated so was curious to see why.

Ok story, I didnt seem to follow the plot too well, Bad baldy wanted something so pretend to ally with one side about something, then a load of 6 armed green people were there too, for some reason.

Only saving grace was the main actress, she is a total hottie.

7/10 I didn't really know what was going on but it didn't even matter, i like to jump too.
