I finally finished normal with my level 32 monk, took me ~23 hours, explored everything. Now I don't know what to do,should I continue soloing on NM or should I try coop?In coop is everyone just running doing quests or they explore too?Which is more fun?

Exploring in co-op is rare, its mainly a rush to the objective. You often go in a cave you havent seen before and you get "What the hell you going in there for!?"

That was the case in D2, there's far greater reason to explore and tackle champion and elite packs as well as random dungeons in D3, especially once you hit 60 and can get NV.

If a public group said "we're going to speed run to boss, no detours" I'd quit and find another. I don't want to spend time running through and then only getting two magics because I've already downed that boss. You'd have to either not have heard about or understood the new mechanics or be a monumental idiot to waste time like that.

finished hell last night and got my monk to lvl 60 with 565k to use for better gear ready for inferno.

any suggestions?

i've been mainly stacking dex and vit and lightning resistance (for passive)

currently using a fist weapon (283dps) and a shield.

I enjoyed the timed dungeon in Act 2, made a change, rushing around like crazy trying to kill everything and make it to the loot in time! :D

Me and a guy i was playing with saw that on Hell, 3 huge champions and 2 elites along with a shed load of minions as soon as we walked in.

Both of us typed **** that at the same time and carried on with Act 2.

So I was watching a stream and saw a guy who had Furious Charge and Revenge as skills on his bar, I thought you could only have 1 skill from each area at any one time? If not, how do I do this?

Edit nvm, worked it out. Stupid me :)

Yeah his armour crafting is great. Its his weapon crafting that sucks balls. They tend to be way below your current level thanks to a pretty poor selection available for certain classes.

Archon is so awesome. On Nightmare Act I playing catch-up. Found the Jar of Souls event, sat in the middle and got a 130 massacre streak. Then did the Skeleton King last night and down him in under 20 seconds for the achievement. 300% damage beam? Love it :D

Archon cool down is too much IMO, so I rarely use it - much prefer the get out of jail free spell that creates another 2 versions of you... Saved my life many times vs diablo.

more woes, gone to install on my laptop to see if i can get better performance from that, and apparantly vista home is not an uptodate enough OS, though XP home on the desktop is fine...was ANY testing done for this game at all lol

Exactly, too many have crossed over from WOW thinking bosses are where the good loot is :(

What is this NV? I always see it

Nephalem Valor

It's way of building up MF by killing champions/elites and keeps buffing by when you get to the boss. It's to stop people from simply just doing boss runs. I haven't got to 60 yet (where you need to get to be able to use it) but i like the idea.

It is but you shouldn't need it that often. Dunno how it'd fair on higher difficulties if you can't flatten the enemies before they hit you (solo anyway) but so far its proven to be an awesome 'destroy giant mobs' card as well as a 'destroy champs/elites/bosses' card, albeit short lived in the last situation.

I've had it last over 2 minutes before which is great.

As powlesY says, it's a buff you get from killing elite and champion groups once you're level 60.

You can stack it up to 5 times and it gives you loads of MF, it's the only way to get decent drops before tackling a boss, but it means you have to explore and find elite/champ groups before facing them.

I have so many gems but don't see the value in training up the Jeweller. I wondered if there was someone who could come in and craft/upgrade them for me and i give them the money.

I just bought a nice axe from the AH for 15k, 302dps + 106-200dmg, 111 int and 79 vit. Got my DPS up to 3.8k now whilst having just under 33k life.
