***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Though I do agree for £500 it's too expensive expensive and I'd much rather pay £450-£480. Having said that, a 64GB iPhone 4S which was release over half a year ago is selling for £700. My 16+64GB S3 is in total £545. So yes, the 4S is still ridiculously over priced. And I will be willing to challenge my colleagues at work with a concrete drop test any day of the week S3 vs 4S to see what a 'premium build' quality truly handles.

You know what he meant. ;)

A Vauxhall Corsa may fare better aesthetically than an Aston Martin DB9 in a crash test, but I know which one I'd rather be in.

The Blue model causing problems? - how Ironic. :D

I foresee much rage in this thread in the coming weeks! :p

Ok so last night I pretty much decided I wasnt getting one and was going to wait either for Black or a different phone all together.

Then i went to Westfield white city with the GF.
IM GETTING ONE RIGHT NOW..

Looks about 15x better in real life, even the blue one. Fits very nicely in your hand. Liked the camera and video camera and web browsing was pretty damn awesome.
Might go for the 26 a month deal on mobiles.co.uk with unlimited texts 300 mins and 750gb web.

The missis is very visual like most women and she was having my desire when I got a phone, but now shes getting one too.

My advice to all of you is to use one before making a decision. Although im sure you will agree it looks better in the flesh.. I dare say i even like the blue.

Yep its like i said last night, i had a play with one both blue and white and honestly its not that bad looking...its definitely a better looking handset in the flesh rather than in pics.

Still undecided on whether to get one or not, knowing me and the way i am...i probably get one and sell my One X.

Quick update on the tv I won, after reading the terms and conditions on Three's website it looks like they wont dispatch my tv until I have paid my first bill :(

It's a month to wait for a free £1500 telly? That's sad news?

Between that and people waiting in all day just to get their phone on launch day... I wish that was all I had to worry about in life :p

If I have to wait a month that's fine, I was just a bit disappointed because I had a buyer lined up for our old telly.

the online deals direct to the networks are pretty shizz tbh.
I am hovering over the "Buy" button for the 26 and month 300mins ult text 750mb data deal on mobiles.co.uk
But is there any truth to the stuff about tmobile limiting web usage if you go through a 3rd party?

Yes, they used to cap the speeds at least. I don't know if they still do.

so really its worth me plumping up the extra for orange or vodafone woud you say robbo?

Well, the speed caps will be fine for most browsing/facebook/twitter sort of use, but not for any sort of streaming or heavy image/video use.

So it's up to you really! If it's a small difference then I'd probably say yes, go for someone else.

Its a personal choice that only you can answer - there seems to be a small risk that they might do this, so if vodafone or orange do a similar deal, then go for it if their network is OK in your area
