***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Can't see the logo at the bottom when the phone is being used, bad for brand recognition, won't ever happen any more really.

What does that matter, they can keep the Samsung logo at the top and put something else at the bottom, even a speaker would improve it.

I expect all future phones will be the same then by your logic, but I bet they won't be.

Doesn't matter where the speaker is, the logo looks set to stay at the top.

My opinion is that it looks perfectly fine. there's not much going on, it's fairly minimal which is always a nice thing and neutral to the eyes.

Yes, I know you like it. ;)

It doesn't look neutral to my eyes, it looks to me like they've squashed in everything at the top.

Refer to almost every other phone that has been made as to why they look better with some balance. They all seem to be quite careful to ensure they don't have everything at the top.

No, I don't like it but neither do I hate it. I think it looks neutral and have said that before anyway.

I think it's a strange thing to be concerned about considering the (non)amount of time anyone spends looking at the back of their phone in the first place.

Maybe you do want one but are trying to find ways to convince yourself you don't want one :) That's what it looks like to me from a lot of the posts anyway especially after the One X review update.

That's a strange thing to accuse me of, just because I dare to be critical of it as it's a long way from perfect? I know you don't like that.

I already said I'm getting one at least twice? Did you miss that? I doubt it. I think that aside from the questionable design and partly ugly interface, the S3 is approaching flawlessness.

The One X is great too, but again, it's far from perfect and in all likelihood has more flaws than the S3 will, despite having the screen, design and possibly camera advantage.

Not accusing anyone of anything so no need to get so defensive dude. I'm just saying how it looks that's all.

After all, you did make the same assumption about me just above.

I'm not being defensive, just pointing out that you can be critical of something without trying to put yourself off it.

I think the One X is excellent - and would recommend it - then look at my list of problems with it! :p

I'm critical of absolutely everything, phones, cars, you name it.

But I seldom care about things that don't cause much (if any) issue on the real world hence why I rarely comment on those things. It just so happens that I did on this occasion!

Look at the S2 back, I dislike the design as its an opposite to the professional looking front but I have never commented on it because I know it matters very little.

Well, I don't think it's massively important either but it's certainly something worth noting.

It's similar to saying you don't care what the outside of your car looks like as you only see the inside! :p

I know it's rather late but I couldn't sleep so browsed eBay for accessories and came across this dock:

Normally I wouldn't glance twice but I noticed this has one stand out feature, being able to rotate to landscape while docked and since the pic shows it holding an iPhone 4 without it falling then it will certainly hold an S3 (or almost any Droid that matter).

It looks quite decent too and the price isn't bad.

Tempted.... I'll leave it until tomorrow to decide :p

I got it on:

26 per month
300 mins
750 mb
unlimited txts
£20 for handset (£30 quidco cashback)

I did get an email saying 'We just wanted to let you know, your free accessories bundle will be delivered to you within 28 days of you receiving your new (fantastic!) handset.' No idea any accessories were included so not sure what to expect there?

Through p4u?
If so we get the awesome Samsung flip case and a memory card.

Tempting just to go SIM free on this, the cost is cheaper than most deals on the long run and Im getting fed up with all the 18-24 month deals these days

Anyone see and offers or extras that you get for you £499 :p
