Are you scared of spiders?

i hate spiders and wasps.

bees dont bother me much because you can generally atleast in my experiecing open a window wide and they will find their way out fairly quickly.

if i see a spider i get the hoover out :D if i see a wasp i get the hoover out and extend it to maximum range.

btw moths freak me out something rotten! so unpredictable i hate them!
 
Entirely dependent on the Spider,

Normal UK house spider = I'm fine with and i like them to be about because they eat flies which i hate with a passion

Size of a dinner plate Spiders/Jump at your face Spiders = I would kill with a flame thrower while screaming like a 5 year old girl, not caring if i take the house with it in flames
 
Do people find tarantulas less scary?

Im still wary around these but prefer them to house spiders, nowhere near as quick, and generally just look friendlier :p
 
I'm frightened of them, though slightly less than I used to be. Regardless, I still find them facinating, and watch videos of them on youtube. I kid myself that I would like to buy the only appealing tarantula that I've ever seen... - this one:

I abhor spiders but I have handled a tarantula. The difference between the species I handled, and other spiders, is that they move very slowly indeed. This makes them far more manageable and predictable. My biggest hatred is when house spiders dart off quickly, but tarantulas seem very placid in comparison.
 
A few people have mentioned moths, can't stand them. Especially in this hot weather where you open the window at night. They must be the most retarded creatures on earth, constantly flying into things and generally being a pain in the ass.

I make it my mission to destroy them. :mad:
 
Hate them, yet will do my best not to kill them, nothing a bucket and a piece of paper does't usually sort out. I might change my stance if I saw one of those bad boys running across the room though!
 
The reason I dislike spiders is because they are small and quick even though I know they wont do any harm. My biggest fear is one goes into my mouth while I am sleeping.
 
The only spider I dislike is that one that shoots it's hairs into your eyes as a defense mechanism.
 
I live well out in the sticks - in an old farm house - so no I'm not afraid of spiders.
In fact they consume the nastier bugs you get around here.
