I'm getting my arse handed to me by The Butcher on Hell difficulty. Decided to take a short break from the game to cool my head and work on which skills are best to use in the fight.

I've been farming Inferno today for gold to get a better DPS weapon.

As a Barb it seems resists are massively important, I killed the Butcher on Inferno not long ago, I could probably progress further but I decided to spend a bit of time farming for more gold now.

I was more +all resist gear along with decent amounts of str. :)

Probably a couple of mill. The Atk spd % will give it some value, as will it's DPS. If that was OH though you'd be getting much much more for it. Also... 11 Legendaries?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU FARMING? o.O

Nothing specific, they just keep dropping.

Only 2 have really been usable, one was my lidless wall which i've upgraded from and another was a pair of boj anglers I gave to a coop buddy.

so been a level 60 barb for a while now, and figured its time to put together some gear that will allow me to farm act 1/2 of inferno. Could anyone give me some specifics about what numbers i should be looking for on the auction house? I am aware it will cost a lot of gold, but figured i might as well start looking for some quality pieces of armour/weapon/shield.

From reading this thread it seems i should be looking for stuff with a high armour level, with high stength, all resist, physical resist, and vitality? is that right? how much of each should i be looking for to be able to farm act 1/2 of inferno?

Thanks!

Don't say act 1/2.

Mostly because what you need to scrape through act 2 inferno, is, from what I've heard about 10 times better than what you need to farm inferno..

Strife, it's kind of limping along for me. I'm having issues here and there, it's taking a while to process requests and stuff. It isn't smooth by any means, but it is still just about working.

It's been a massive help.

Yeah, 4) You were keylogged or gave away your password.

(And by 4 I mean 1)

Id love to know where/how I picked up a keylogger though.. I practically visit the same sites.. update my antivirus (program and definitions) before I download anything new (from any site) and then scan the file. I did a full virus scan before I formatted, the full indepth scan and it only found passworded archives, some actually in the Diablo III beta folder which have all now been deleted, I had all the scan settings at full so it took ages and definately scanned everything.

I've never ever lost an account before.

Other than something on my computer, I can only think it was a new game/app I downloaded for my phone even though I have Avast on that to.

Im not saying I'm bulletproof but I like to think I'm up there with the most cautious.

Of course it's their fault. I was the only one who knew my password. I have never played on public. Never had a single problem with any other games (never been hacked).
my account has been hacked they took all my money my pc is 100% secure and my password was entirely unguessable iv heard others have been hacked too so deffo a blizzard issue.

Ok, am I missing something here?

My current weapon is a Crossbow w/ 132 dexterity and 112 dps. So why is a Hand Crossbow w/ 0 dexterity and 119 dps marginally better for my character?
Weapon DPS doesn't take into account dexterity so shouldn't my characters DPS with the Crossbow equipped by considerably higher? I mean its not like we're talking about 10 or 20 dex, we're talking 132 difference.

my pc is 100% secure

How could you possibly ever know that as a fact...

Not heard any reliable source of people with authenticators having issue, so not massively concerned. I suspect it's like 99% of these cases, people use the same passwords for all sites, sign up to some dodgy phish promotion with the same email as battle.net and bang.

D3 is a massivly popular game, it's not a huge suprise that people would be trying their luck phishing for accounts.

well as secure as can be, router firewall system firewall, latest virus scan. I dont download anything suspicious infact this is a brand new laptop with barely any software on it other than diablo. i also work in the IT industry so i know how to secure my systems.

The tooltip doesnt take into account dex on a weapon. You need to factor it in yourself. It DOES however factor attack speed % and crit chance/damage. Bear this in mind when looking at upgrades :)

No system is 100% secure.

No-one knows how they're hacking yet, some people are saying that it's after people join their games. Other people are just saying they're guessing P/Ws.

It doesn't matter, I doubt it's Blizz's fault.
