What film did you watch last night?

Safe House - 9/10.

A very Jason Bourne (the second two) style of film. Great action thriller with brilliant performances from Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington (who is brilliant in pretty much everything he does), and tense, fast paced action.

Might have to give Man on Fire another watch now haha :)

TT: Closer to the Edge.

I'm not a biker but really enjoyed the film and it definitely reinforced my idea that all riders of the Isle of Man circuit are mentalists :p

Great footage on board the bikes and the main rider followed (Guy Martin) is an entertaining nutter. Be prepared for some toe-curling footage of a couple of crashes though.

8.5/10

The Inn Keepers 4/10 - A film about a haunted hotel.
Nothing really happened throughout most of the film. I think they were trying to copy films like Ringu and Kairo (2 of my favourite horror films) whereby nothing really happens through most of the films but they do such a great job of building atmosphere and that "uneasy feeling" that you're on the edge of your seat the whole time. "The Inn Keepers" failed at doing this so it just ended up being a boring film.

This Means War - 6.5/10. An enjoyable enough, watchable film. Nothing spectacular. I'm a fan of Tom Hardy and while he had his moments I can't help but feel he was mis-cast in this.

Saving Private Ryan - 9.5/10. Such a great film.

If people haven't seen it yet then definitely watch Time Crimes. One of the best Sci-Fi time travel movies (especially given the budget) I have seen (again).

I watched The Machinist last night. It was like a more creepy Fight Club or something. Christian Bale was good, and it was quite chilling. I had nightmares afterwards, which never happens to me.

The Raid 10/10

Spectacular, screw **** like "The Expendables", this is the best action movie I have ever seen.
