What film did you watch last night?

8.5 stone. He wanted to get down to around 7 but wasn't allowed because of health risks afaik.

To be honest, I think it's a shame that the only thing people say about the film is how much weight he lost! It's a very competent film and shouldn't be remembered just for how "method" Christian Bale is.

true. but i was just adding my bit as an addendum. to me its a great movie but a bit similar to fight club, which is one of my all-time favourite movies. shame really, as it is a great film.

I agree - it feels very similar to Fight Club at times, which is a pity as the story is different and I looks at different things.

I watches Die Hard With A Vengeance last night. Great fun. Samuel L Jackson makes a good partner for Bruce Willis. It's better than 2 and 4, but still not as good as 1.

agreed. i need to watch the machinist again. i think ive only seen it once.

DHWAV is a great movie. it feels a bit different from the first 2 so im cool with that. pity 4 was a bit **** (i cant even remember what happened) but 1 will always be a top 10 action film. they just dont make movies like that any more :(

MIB3 - It was alright, fun enough, nothing exceptional. Although Boris the animal was a great character! 6/10
Good Will Hunting - Whenever this is on TV I always end up watching it, love it! 9/10

Very jealous of you UK living folk getting to see the Raid, been wanting to watch it since last October! Not out here in the US and gonna have to wait til Bluray :(

my heart bleeds. you will just have to cope with cheaper, subsidised movies (US Companies always charge more outside of the USA) released months before the rest of the world.

you could always import it like many of us have to. the raid is actually a couple of years old IIRC.

;)

i do find it funny when 1% of goods dont get the early USA release date, man they cry (i guess you are a brit abroad so im not aiming this at you)

haha fair enough :)
Yes I am English, so naturally I like to complain a little when I can :p

Men In Black III - 6/10
More mature than the originals with less comedy and more emotional development between the characters. The stars are true to their characters and the CGI / special effects are good, but although the story is entertaining, it is unoriginal and the villain was rather bland.

That's not my opinion either don't worry, i thought it was a brilliant film. But it's hardly surprising when he makes such a huge change especially quite close to films where he is openly shown as being a big guy.

Think i might watch it tonight anyway, only seen it once for some reason :o

I watched An American Werewolf in London yesterday (on blu), which was very enjoyable :)
The effects are a bit ropey now, but still stand up well.
What I didn't realise until I was watching the extras was that the same director also did Blues Brothers (got on blu to watch), and Animal House (bought a few months ago).
