I see people posting here that they have made 7 million off the AH and stuff, how? I'm a poor Barb sitting on 170k and thats come from farming.

Really struggling with Hell at the moment, finding the game too frustrating to the point where I log in and log back out after 20 minutes and go do something else. My gear is awful and needs drastic improvement, of course I cant improve the gear unless I earn more gold or actually get a usable drop, which doesnt happen because I spend most of my time chain wiping to anything that is blue or yellow... and this is in Act I.

Had crappy gear and was quite low level first time on normal, running about to avoid being hit, and alternating between both healing wells made it quite easy.

Buffed up I could pretty much stand there and smash him.

Stay in close with Sweeping Wind and the enemies will take constant damage, even better if you get a crit hit.

Just avoided the worst attacks, the grab and the fire breath, rest of the time just smash him with dual wield axes.

Would love to work out that one myself. Think I have about 100k on my monk now at level 50 and I can't see any way of improving matters anytime soon!
 
I doubt you'll ever make that kind of money before Inferno. It really depends whether people are talking about selling equipment they've found, or getting a quick buyout on some really cheap item and flogging it for higher.
 
I will admit only having 10 auctions does make it a pain at times. But tbh with rares if they have some decent stat on them and I know I wont get a decent amount of gold for it. I just put it up on the AH for like 1k-2k gold. Someone will buy them rather quickly so I can shift things quicker. 1-2k gold is better than the 300g you will get from a merchant.

If they are utter junk I will just break them down with the smithy and keep the matts. Just incase BS does actually become useful :p
 
I have this motherboard gigabyte z77-d3h and I just want to ask what sound settings I should just whether low, medium or high where it shows the amount of channels... anybody know?

i had no trouble soloing from normal to act 3 inferno on my barb
im just doing siegebreaker chest runs now for gear....you just have to be lucky for gold...i found a 1.2k DPS bow and sold it for 12 mill last night ^^

Make some 'mules.' Create a lvl one char, get them to new tristam, move stuff out of stash to their inventory, you can sell it straight from there to the AH :)
 
im now on lvl50 in ACT III Nightmare about to kill diablo again.

Belial wasn't that hard of boss on ACTII just used Dragons with Electric, Diamond Armour and Electric Force Field, regeneration armour and helmet.

my current DMG is 870k, and have a weapon that uses 200.00 Per Second, Damage rate between 110-190 sweet as nuts .

I'm 43 with approx 250k, my gear is decent too.

Drops haven't been amazing either. An odd ring that sold for maybe 20-25k, that's it. I only AH anything over 1.5-2k, everything else is NPC'd.

Do not! I allow myself 5 slots for auctioning drops, and 5 for whatever stuff I'm making money from....

Haha, the utter junk stuff I sell to the merchant on the basis I could buy mats for less than I get for selling it to merchant...

Presumably why it's down atm, trying to fix it or something... But that would explain why you never see anything that good in there...

you need to use gold / green amulet to get better upgrades and more chances of finding special items

It wouldn't be a problem if they let you sell more than 10 items at a time, or maybe set the duration length/allow you to cancel them after 5 minutes.

NO!!! Roll back to nightmare and farm gold +AH +?=profit

stop being a wet girl's blouse Barb's are cool just very gear dependant I read so go somewhere you can handle spend some hours farming with some +gold gear and buy some upgrades :)
 
Using the AH is easy money if you have a decent knowledge of each classes stat priority, a relative amount of luck and some time to spend doing it. Posted a few pages back on how I search for the items on the AH. Just the other day i bought a pair of dex, vit and crit chance pants for 120k, flogged them off for 1.7m.

Best time to do it is now whilst prices are still volatile.
