well instead of typing and baiting an answer with "?" pasting a link to the rules would have took the same amount of time.

seems like he was looking to ban people

If I was just looking to ban people I'd do it again. I wasn't sure what your omg referred to, so I queried it. You posted it right after another suspension for the same thing.

You're the only one to blame. Don't cry at me.

I think you'll find that you're discussing moderation and that's a banable offence ;)
trolololol

Anyway, I very much enjoyed the recent episode.
Although played out slightly differently to the book, I found the battle very entertaining, with nods to Saving Private Ryan but an entire barrel of vomit ;)
and nods towards various other bits.
The WyldFire scenes were exceptional, the utter horror from everyone event Tyrion who unleashed it, to the sick mocking smile of twisted Joffrey, who delighted right up to the point they started to knock upon his gates. A craven king, I see no future for him, it will be interesting to see what his grandfather has to say upon the matter.

I forget, did we already discuss the announcement of which characters will be cast for Series 3?

http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/05/29/game-of-throne-season-3-cast/

I don't know much about the characters, but i think i would prefer it if they kept the same actor as Series 1 for Beric, and not just for continuity's sake. He didn't have 'many' lines, but he did make an impression. He seemed quite elegant/well kept, which is what i imagined him being like in the first book (where he's described a bit more as he arrives for the Tourney).

As for Edmure, the guy who did that leaked audition seemed good. Some people said he was too old, but personally i think that could have been just the hair.

Yeah, must have been a few weeks ago. Was put up on Vimeo, but it's been taken down now and nobody had the sense to download it. Some Irish actor by the name of Tom Sullivan?

Why do you think The Hound is so caring when it comes to Sansa?

My guess is because she's as trapped as he is.

Sandor Clegane *despises* knights. He would prefer to be called 'dog' than Ser Sandor. He also has a bad case of self loathing due to his disfigurement and the fact that he's slowly turning into the kind of glorified murdering thug he hates. He's also in service to Joffrey. He hates him too.

He probably sees in Sansa a chance of redemption. To be heroic knight like in the songs she grew up with. The kind of knight he probably wants to be if he could choose freely. Unfortunately none of the knights in the songs have a melted face - they're all pretty boys like Ser Loras. So he's conflicted between what he knows is right and acting like the monster everyone assumes he is.

At the time of the battle at Kings Landing I think Robbs forces are split.

He is threatening Casterly Rock but lacks the manpower to attack.
Roose Bolton is harrassing the Lannisters around Harrenhal.
And Rickard Karstark is scouring the routes to Kings Landing searching for Brienne and Jaime.

Finally watched all the first season again and caught up with all the seocnd now... cant believe how amazing its been. The casting for everyone is literally spot-on perfect, i can't see how it can have been done any better. Even Stannis, who at first I wasn't sure about, fits the role absolutely perfectly... I even ended up warming to him for that fact. Simply a sublime viewing experience in every respect, i've never seen a better TV adaptation of anything, even if they have cut the odd (forgiveable) story corner. Seeing the books ocme to life has been nothing short of spaffworthy, and I can't wait for the season finale.

God knows what Season 3 is going to be like, seeing as its by far the best of the books and has a lot of truly epic action in it.

I think I'm going to watch episode 8 again, I enjoyed that one

Is Bolton's base-born son going to make an appearance before the end of the series? I wonder. He's been mentioned several times so far
