This is so true, I keep thinking the game is trying to tell me 'you should be a Monk, here take this....and this and this and this and this and this and this.'
damn you!!! what class you playing? may have to do some old fashioned trades. playing without AH gets annoying when all you get is WD and DH gear

My bad. That was a typo. You wanna do it after the ballistae and trebuchet. Also try using Cluster Arrow with the Loaded for the Bear rune it's very handy for taking out the spear throwers and moloks especially if it crits.

Ran that quest checkpoint to Siegebreaker, was still millions of mobs although didn't see this post before I started. Only quest inbetween Destroy the Ballistae and Kill the Siegebreaker, which is "Begin Quest" on Siegebreaker, do you mean that one?

Also, using a Wizard :)

Random tips for Siegebreaker runs though:

1. The Bridge Stores 3/4 up the bridge, if the door is shut then there's a vendor inside. If it's open or if there's a nearly dead guy crawling out it has a champion pack in there. I always skip this though, close quarters kiting is a no-go.

2. The land mine bomb things in the first area can obliterate a champion pack if you can drag them over it whilst setting off the mines, 3 - 4 bombs would near enough wipe them all out.

3. Sometimes there is a quest about 1/4 up the bridge with a scout sitting at the bottom of some steps on the left. If he's there, there is always a champion pack of flying mobs half way up the tower. Benefit is though they often get stuck on the stairs so you can cheese it, and there's only 2 of them not 3 - 4 like a normal pack.

4. I'd say about 1 in 5 times the Underbridge will be open at the end of the bridge. Always had a rare pack inside, and about a 50% chance of having a loot goblin and a 50% chance of a Resplendent Chest.

Right, ok, here we go to all the lower level barbs out there.... Since I was helped out a bit at lower levels with gear, I figured I'd do the same for fellow OcUK members.

I'm giving all of this away for free apart from one pair of weapons, however I'll give you a great deal on the pair I'm selling anyway.

I have:

Pair 1 - 50k for the pair
Gone to Anton.

Pair 2
Gone to snax.

That's all the 'pair' of weapons. I'll be giving them away as a pair only. I used both pair 1 and 3 for a substantial amount of time myself and found them absolutely epic at the relevant levels.

I'd rather give these to a barb, but obviously there's nothing saying that I have to, however the pairs in particular I would prefer to.

Mostly these just have high DPS in some cases, and others have nice accompanying stats.

For the socketed stuff I may be nice and add a gem if I have one lying around as well, but not sure yet.

Right so what do you have to do to get them?

Well just post saying which one you want.

Simple rules:
Only 1 weapon per person, or 'pair of weapons' as such. I may be nice and may allow the pair I'm charging for to be an additional one on top of the freebie rule.
Must be an improvement on your current stats When I give you the weapon I'll do a quick check of your current equip through the inspect stuff, and if what you've got is better no stuff for you - don't want anyone just looking for a quick gain.
No profiteering Ideally when you're finished with the items I'd rather you followed my concept and gave them away. In particular this applies to Pair 3. The rest I do not mind so much about.
Play nice
Oh, I'd also prefer it if this is to help out your main character that is still struggling through NM or something, however I may give to alts as well.

I'm going for first come first served. It just makes it all so much easier and fairer.

Completely unrelated from the above, I'm really struggling right now to decide between a DH or a Wizard.... Hmm... I've got lots of relatively high DPS bows, but I just think a Wizard might be better for Inferno...

Yeah Rids, I hadn't even thought about it really, but Phoenix helped me out when I was a nooby barb, and I'd seen quite a few people complaining about not having the gear/money to progress through NM/Hell, which that should kind of help out with.

My barb is level 44 or something. I would love a pair of weapons if available. I'm on nightmare act 2 ATM.
No worries if there are more worthy characters.

Oh, people, you'll need to post your users so I can add you :p

Anton, they're yours :)

Snax, I'll give you Pair 2. I think they should be ok together, although you might have to wait a bit to use them :)

Yeah, that's the one. 'Begin Quest'. I always found the one just before to be a lot more concentrated - specifically the fields - with mobs, especially as I believe the Ballistae sometimes spawn mobs around them. It could just be personal preference though.

Ahh, Wizard. I have yet to try them.

1. Yeah, I made the mistake of going in there when the mob was inside thinking I could just spam it or something dumb like that. Now I just wait until it's closed.

2. I noticed that too! I got lucky and pulled them over a couple and it wiped 2/3 champ mobs which was very nice as they were particularly annoying.

3. And yeah I tried that. Got a couple of moloks with mortar, but managed to choke them out for the most part - had to kite back over the bridge but it wasn't too painful.

4. I've not seen that. I'm guessing that's near the boss instance?

Have you come across Avenger Demon Tremor's yet? They are ridiculous in how they move. And they quite nasty. X_X

Seems like people can't wait to start using the real money auction house, seen a few guys on ebay selling gold for money. Last auction I seen was 1 million gold for £20. -_-

Your first legendary should be string of ears, with its 10-20% physical reduction. Can be had for a little as a few hundred K's.
Your second legendary should be Justice Lantern, +11% chance to block, on a ring, which means you can even use two of them eventually.

re: this - I think legendaries are unique, so you couldnt stack two justice lanterns.

Edit -

2hours 20minutes played on my DH. Level 43.

60 tonight!

Jeez, how? :\

Also, are blue weapons still going for anything? Picked up a few 800 - 900 dps blue 1handers.
