what an awful hour of play, connection was lagging to no end, got killed by a mob that was nowhere near me due to a spike up to 2000ms, causing my position to be completely wrong and my skills to fail to be performed, think I died about 20 times due to this, cost me a rather large amount of money. drops were pretty poor for the most part, 1 obvious upgrade, and 1 massive DPS increase on 1 of my weapons while losing out of life on hit & vit, so unsure if worth it (150DPS magic, or 80 DPS rare with better stats). Nearly up to diablo on NM now though, so hell soon :D
 
Ok since hitting lvl60 I've found 3 Enlightenment Shrines in the space of 15 minutes...

Not really noticed much improvement with 75% magic find. The 96% Gold find is definitely there though.
 
Nephalem valor increases the amount of items that drop.
Normal magic find effects the quality of the items that drop.
 
It seems most people are playing Monk or DH. I've chosen Witch Doctor to stick with (tried them all up to skeleton king). Have I chosen a gimped class? Still early enough to change.
I realise the answer is play what you enjoy, but getting frustrated later on after putting in a lot of time (a rare commodity for me) won't be enjoyable.
Didn't like DH at all, but quite enjoyed Monk (it was a close call between Monk and WD)

I think WD is less frustrating at end game than monk, mainly due to having some sort of range. I'm sure if you get to 60 and get fed up with WD, starting again with monk will still be fun, I originally started as a barb, got to A4 normal and decided I wanted something different.

That doesn't make any sense since they're the same magic find stat. :confused:

However yes, I did notice a difference when I downed the Seigebreaker. In true style because I'm playing a DH he dropped me 2 lvl59 shields :rolleyes:

OK, cheers, I'll stick with WD for now. Quite enjoy having minions to run at the enemy so I can fight from range.

Doesn't need to make sense, it's Blizzard.

Try getting 75% magic find on gear, doing a boss kill and checking loot, then going 0% magic find with 5 Nephalem valor buffs and see the difference.
 
Ooh, I'd so want that if it wasn't a mojo... Hell I'm actually interested anyway xD

Almost missed a pair of Legendary pants - I only saw them as I was running back kiting an elite. Oh dear. I better pay more attention - thought it was a grey!
 
I'm stillm having no joy with Act 2 Inferno. Just seem to be wasting time and gold on trying to get there.

No idea which route to take with it...
