I seem to have hit really lucky with the items I've got. Going through hell difficulty like a hot knife through butter.

I've seen it stated quite a few times about the ball lightning damage but I haven't done the math myself. I've read things about the 155% damage being only if it hits a target twice and that it's just another bugged/error tooltip. So essentially it hits at around 75% compared with NT which hits at 155% with each hit. And with NT, if it crits, it'll crit everything it hits which afaik Ball Lightning doesn't do. That's why it's a staple in many builds, if you find the reduced damage/possible stun to be more useful then okay, but typically NT does more damage and thus when you're trying to down mobs as quick as possible, it seems like the better damage choice.

Oh right. That's something I haven't seen before. Have you had to sacrifice other stats in order to get the hatred regen or have you managed to bag some good deals/items?

Well I've never noticed horribly low damage on Ball Lightning but I'll have a look at some point (on something lower than act 2 inferno... so I don't get 1 shot). It has always hit for slightly lower than Multishot did as far as I can remember.

I haven't really sacrificed anything as far as I can tell. My gear is just ****.

Could any Wizards on Inferno tell me how well they are handling it? Been hearing a lot about wizards not being very good for Inferno.

At the moment i'm stuck between continuing with my Demon Hunter or Wizard, any information would be appreciated. :)

Doing fine here, big jumps in difficulty though between acts although every class is finding that.

Just play whichever you find the most fun, both do extremely well in Inferno once geared.

Basically if you're struggling on either in Inferno you just get more damage, it solves everything. Might require some extensive farming, more for gold to buy that damage rather than get it from drops, but you go from something like Act 2 kicking you in the pants wondering how it could ever be possible to being 40k+ damage and rather comfortably farming it, to 60k+ damage and it's a joke, whilst Act 3 then will begin to feel comfortable to farm.

any high lvl witch doc here?

whats their mid - late gameplay like?

im currently lvl 9 and its kinda weak compared to a dh / barb at same levels

I am a witch doctor on inferno Act 2, it has a few strong specs but only downside is the class feels a bit unfinished/lacking on some spells/passives however Blizzard are buffing witch doctor pets next patch i heard enabling vitality to scale with pets hp for a start.

I got 41k hp, 36k damage and can solo Act 1 inferno without packs even hitting me with my cc-spec but on Act 2 it can be ridiculous on packs like the serpents with vanish or spiders with extra health as they take a lot less damage and do tons.

Price Check - First Legendary Drop

Hey All... today I received my first legendary drop and as they are no use to me being a barb I am looking to sell on the AH,

Does anyone have an idea as to what this shield is worth? (im not a massive AH user, so no idea how things are going)

My DHs gear is so terrible. Was just looking at his resistances earlier, 2000 armour, 19 base resistances :p

What is worth farming if you can't defeat the Butcher on Inferno? I could really do with better gear so he can't just 1 shot me and better dps so it doesn't take forever, but there doesn't seem to be anything available to farm for any hope of drops. I can do Maghda on act 2 but she seemed to just drop trash.

Well I just started playing my DH alt as I wanted to farm faster than my monk, and the moment I leveled high enough for socketed helm and 1h crossbows (around 17), I got red gems in them for +19% xp, and a load of extra dmg on the weapons and now I just level SO silly fast as I can ditch some dmg/vit gear for just more dmg and lots of +xp on monster kills and I'm way ahead of where my monk was when I was leveling him.

Butcher always has the same pattern, once you learn it he can't really kill you unless you miss-use an escape cooldown.I am not sure what DH is but i think it's smoke screen? whenever he hooks you then use it but you can easily dodge the hook as he 95% of the time does after the throwing multi spear ability.Once he's used his grapple hook dps loads and always go for a health cauldron after taking the multi spear hit.

I can help you kill him if you want, Sycho#2606 on battlenet.

Crazy how easy act 2 Inferno is now. I thought it was solid when I first started, now just run around 1 shotting all the mobs.

I've killed him with help (ie, I stood around looking pretty, doing some damage and getting lucky dodges on the multi-spear attack). Its just a case of being able to actually farm him which I am far from being capable of.

Have really heard this mentioned much, but does anyone have any idea how to get the top tiered items?

I initially assumed it you could get Tier 16 armour in Hardcore Inferno mode, but that's just a guess.
