Not a Jon Snow reference?
I'll lose all respect for Cat if she carried someone else's child after the way she treated Jon, especially as that would be after they married a few years.
I don't think it fits.
I thought of that but there have been numerous mentions to Jon Snow's mother being a whore. I can't see why Ned Stark would have needed to take a common whore into the woods for a discrete dalliance.

With The Hound heading North and Brienne heading South with Jaime and the whole speech from Jaime about some boys trying it on with her but none were big or strong enough, do you think they'll meet up?
It would be interesting if they did but I'm speculating, hope it happens though.
The books strongly hint in th wording which he talks about her with Jon Snow that his mother was not a common whore. Ned clearly (imo) had affection and respect for her, and Ned is a man of old-school principles (even if he did slip up by having a bustard, but he was a lot younger then, and kat Stark even said their love grew over time, so it may not have been cemented when Jon was conceived), so it is reasonable to assume she was a lady of good repute or character and not some common tavern tramp.
When Catelyn Stark was talking to Robb about "moments of passion in the woods" it got me thinking. That was quite a specific reference. My wife and I were talking about it and we both have a feeling one of the Stark children is illegitimate. We are both drawn towards Sansa being Lord Baelish's child.

Could well be... she is quite different from the others? And a ginner as well
Is Jon older than all the "legitimate" Stark children?
No book spoilers please!!![]()
Anyone know what happened to GreatJon Umber?
We haven't seen him for a while? I thought he was a great character.
