Hmm, weird. Can't see why it wouldn't be seated correctly then.
Are we onto the next page yet? D:

thinking after reading the thread over at xda-developers
link
the actual bad battery on some phones can be atributed to a Internal Hardware Fault --- loose connection of the WIFI antenna..
aparently it can just happen after days...weeks...months.
the connections become loose making the wifi work harder thus using more battery or simply not receiving a signal ...yet press the middle as shown in thread and signal is 100%
the heat is thought to be main culprit retratacting and contracting the connecting wire untill it just works loose from the solder joint.
currently there trying to narrow down what batch maybe affected and htc are maybe looking in to it to ...so it may be fixed in future batchs who knows.
batchs 23...24..and maybe 25 are affected
just in case anyones interested...ignore it otherwise

How can you find out which batch your phone is from?
So, good news for Playstation fan HOX owners here
Seems HTC One (X, S and V) are first non-Sony Playstation Certified devices, meaning lots of gaming goodness on the horizon![]()
