I really need to stop with the stupid deaths on Azmodan runs. Not only does it take me at least an extra 5 minutes because I keep getting killed stupidly and having to run back halfway round the level, but once they up the repair costs of 60 gear its going to get extremely expensive. The number of times I've been killed by Impalers because I didn't bother triggering Smoke Screen or because I stupidly stood still and assumed an enemy would die before it hit me ><

If my DPS was slightly higher Azmodan would be so much easier. I usually have to kill him after he's finished with the floor wells which are very difficult to survive without 2 pieces of +disc gear, but I can sometimes kill him during the well spawning, though usually by the skin of my teeth.
 
How do people go about screenshotting all their gear? I wanna post mine and hopefully get advice on what i should upgrade to "walk" (lol) through act 2.

What is your DPS?

He dies pretty quickly with NT spam, coupled with marked for death + hatred regen rune.

Stand still and smokescreen his fireballs, the first three wells are always at the edge of the room so you should be fine killing him before danger hits.

Only real way is shotting each piece seperately and medleying it into a new picture.

Having a quick read around and seems that this "gold dupe" exploit was not real.

Blizzard have said that yes you could end your auctions early, but this does not dupe gold.
They said they can easily see how much gold players have and there is no indication a dupe has ever existed.

Same with all those claims that people could be hacked just from joining public games, turned out to be completely false. People just hear some rumour and it spreads throughout the internet like its gospel, when really its just unfortunate people with poor password security.

Seems to me people are looking for any way to slam this game, and I don't understand why.

So many whiney moaners, granted the launch was not great with poor server stability. I was getting frustrated with it too. But since less than a week after launch there has been no problems. People requesting a refund based on these issues is ludicrous in my opinion. Somebody a page or two back said he will get a refund just so he can buy it again for cheaper later on. Terrible attitude.
 
can someone give me a price check on this:

rare ring
precious razor
83 dex
66 vit
45 resist all
attack speed increase 14%
melee attackers take 244 damage per hit

Wearing it at the moment, but need some gold so was thinking of selling it and putting the gold to better use elsewhere.

Agree that this game is only getting better. With RMAH and PVP arena to come. Its gonna get so good that people will play it till next big thing for 5 years or more. It will take them if lucky end of year to crack inferno hardcore may be another year. Only the most elite of elite will ever get this honor. May be less than 100 people ever will get this done.

The only gold/item dupe thing I've read about re:auction house is to do with sending to stash at the time when the auction house comes back up after downtime due to syncing or something

Some are keeping gold etc from selling stuff in the completed tab in order to try the dupe when AH goes down/up
Could do the same with cancelling auctions but u don't need clock bug to achieve it

Only if you have very high dps. I SS his first fireball but after that I avoid them to avoid wasting discipline. I don't think I'm quite close enough to downing him to risk using all my discipline on tanking the fireballs and having too little left for the wells. Specially as I start to run out of hatred towards the end. Plus if I didn't have to run away I could spend longer stood on my 'Bait the Trap' Caltrops for the crit boost ^^

I may look into using Marked for Death instead of Bat Companion. It really depends how it factors in to the rest of the run. The extra damage vs Azmodan could be pretty significant and in that situation where he just sits there and lets me spam him down it'd probably generate more hatred than the bat could but against champs/elites where I have to keep my distance I could be running dry too easily.
 
Here's my gear (i'm a Wizard). I know it's not the best but i'm looking for advice on what's letting me down the most. My DPS is actually 26k when using magic weapon. I can solo the butcher on Inferno relatively easily. I have 500k to spend on better stuff. it's greatly appreciated if anyone decides to help me out.

I'd plug the headline stats into the AH and see what the cheapest price is. i.e. 83 dex, 45 all res and 14% IAS. Sort by b/o price and then see what the value is more or less.
