You can select your difficulty to Hell and pick a quest, create a game, go to join a public game and it'll be set to Inferno and you just join that public game, leave and create your own and that will be your checkpoint.

Meh sounds a lame way to do it. Im sure thats not intended!

Aaaaaaaand bored. Shame. Thought I might have been mistaken but I just dont like the setups.

Gearing up for GF to buy MF so i can get DPS and... stuff to sell for gold... so that I can... do... something...

Nope. That and some of the elite mob mechanics are ridiculous. Invulnerable? Brilliant.

the AH is the scurge of the game. you want to play it "properly" don't use it (buy or sell), much more challenging and makes the random drops that actually are an improvement worthy of a tardelli like celebration through the house.

(in case no one knows who Marco Tardelli is - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XOL8o-3TZ8 :P)

I really have a soft spot for those hardcore death videos on youtube. Just watched Krippi's WD and Kungen's 2nd Barb. Their reactions are like, completely polar opposite. I love it so much.

Depends if the europeans are as mad as the Americans on spending real money for digital items. My guess will be yes :p

Looking forward to seeing the RMAH tbh because if stuff is selling at pretty high priced I might just try flog all my stuff and start again futher down the line. Because lets be honest its going to be the first few weeks where stuff is going to be high priced then I guess it will all decline in price.

I don't see the point in buying the items though. If there was an "end-game" community, then sure.. but there isn't anything at endgame. You're in essence, spending money on gear, to make grinding for the same gear easier.

Some people must really have money to burn.

Thats exactly what I cannot understand. That all said I have never understood paying for a digital item full stop. All these pets and mounts in WoW blizzard sell among other F2P games where you have to pay for items. I can never get my head around why someone would pay for a thing in a game that adds nothing to the game iteself. DLC is one thing you might get new content and/or new characters skills whatever. But to buy a mount or vanity pet in WoW for instance, it does nothing to the game lol you just get a new mount or pet to follow you around.

In D3 as MooMoo said you are buying gear to make the game easier to farm more gear to do what with sell make more gold and the cycle repeats. That said I got a feeling maybe people are hoping to buy some gear so they are "more ready" for the pvp patch ? I dunno. But I just cannot see the point in paying like £100 + for a digital item.

But hey each to their own. Some people buy beer some buy cigs some buy clothes others buy digital items for their games.

You take the reflected damage when Tyrael or your other companions/followers hit them too.

It was a pain when Tyrael used to hit for 50k, but he only hits for 5k now so it's nothing ^^

All my friends seem to have stopped playing d3 already. :S

Add: thezakarum#2526 please. :)

I have a barb half way through act 1 inferno and atm I'm working on a level 38 wizard on nightmare act2.

I am just out the town on act 1 inferno and can't survive past first group of elites. no public games either because no one wants to play it. I just die instantly with those jumping dog things that move super fast.

Really? according to what I'm looking at there's over 300 in public games in the first 3 act 1 quests.

They are paying to win ie be the best without spending time. I used to this in a mmo that has been branded free to play, pay to win. The instant boost in power was so good that I dished out about £1k in 2years in a free to play mmo.

And im happy to say that im off that money sink now :D

I realy cannot work out magic find items. In normal there was loads around and got it upto 110+ which ment i had loads of good items to chose from, popped it in my chest and needed it to do diablo as magic finding gear was not upto the job :)

Rolls into inferno and spends another 10 lvls, from 32 -42 not 1 piece of gear with magic find on it drops . I gave in and went to the bloody auction house bought some cheap pieces and got it upto 125 and loads of stuff dropping now, rares and even a pair of legendary boots with nice stats ;)

Starting to feel this game is stacked against us, how cant i find items with magic find on spending hours killing mobs but go to the auction house and i am spoilt for choice for items with magic find and dex around my lvl

Was it like this in diablo 2 as i never played it that much tbh. Thats my moan outta the way back to farming some more kit :D

It's just the way it is. There's so many different combinations of gear, that you may never get what you want. When you factor in the millions of players using the AH, it's easy to find something.

That's mainly why a lot of people are saying the AH is easymode.
