I use 100g lean mince for my burgers.

You git, i'm stuck at work till 6 with no access to food till i get home, i'm drooling over that burger. :(
 
How many reps do people tend to do on deadlifts? I only tend to do reps on the lower end of my weights and then move to singles at around 100KG. I just find doing reps on them a bit awkward!

but it's almost more like 5 singles, with a really short rest. i stop and reset fully between reps
 
Finally got around to joining a gym, got to say wish I did it sooner. Lots of friendly and nice people there who offer to help out with weight exercises

hope to see some nice results soon
 
I'm probably doing it wrong then - I tend to go for 8 reps on the dead lifts with no recovery between reps, only between sets..oops. Might explain why my personal best is only 120kg :o

Tried the new (for the next 12 weeks) gym out, the difference between it and my normal gym is massive. Execpt from the amount of missing DBs! Goes 32s, 38s! Brilliant.
 
Can I ask, what are good assistance exercises for Overhead Press? Just looking at putting a new routine together and want to make sure I cover everything :)
 
its good to keep the movement strict, not bringing the DB's together at the top of the lift so as to not over extend the shoulders.

I guess anything shoulder related will ultimatly help the OHP, but in my opininon it is definatly the slowest lift to progress
 
I'm thinking of not doing that on Inc. DB bench as well, not squeezing at the top to minimise shoulder aggravation...

Im with you on that one. Hopefully that will change once I get stuck in next week (Had a deload this week ready for it :D)
