Why not?

People dont use it, they still made a lot of money from just selling the game. A minority use it they still make what is basically free money.

Also considering that the initial auction fee was 33.33% of the selling price, it isnt as bad on stuff that sells for more.
 
the SMS protect when setting up a new auction ... I guess even though their wording is quite loose that you don't get charged for them sending the SMS to you ?

they are just covering themselves if you had a contract where you had to pay to receive SMSs?
 
Swear to god the loot in Act 3 inferno has been nerfed.

A3 is impossible with my current gear so I have to go back to farming.I started goblin farming yesterday and I wonder,is it crucial to have MF gear on?I don't have any MF at all and I was wondering if it is worth getting a set just for goblins?What if my dps is very low with MF and I can't kill it in time?
 
i find it doesnt make much difference solo doing Goblin in MF gear, in my normal gear i have like 22% MF, in my MF gear i have like 140% and still keep reasonable dps.

Best trick i found is to group up with 2 or 3 other people all with MF gear on as it averages it out across you all, each person logs in solo and looks for goblin, if one finds one they invite the others, kill it, repeat.

Ive seen a lot more drops with this method than solo
 
I refuse to use the RMAH. Theres no way I'm parting with my money for the same gear I could probably farm ingame with enough patience. And from the looks of things Blizzard and paypal take the lions share of the cash when your selling, so I'd rather not give them the satisfaction of ripping me off.

Yeah I've not had anything decent for ages either, I think its partly because our standards are getting higher so we junk more stuff, but that looks pretty similar to the stuff i've been getting.

Had my 3rd rare Hellion Crossbow ever yesterday from over 1000 elite kills in Acts 3 and 4, and again it was junk for me (912 dps 15%IAS and 100dex) so gonna give it to a friend.
 
Ive yet to get a single upgrade personally from doing Inferno Act1 on my DH, im not geared enough for Act2 apart from the Goblin farm :P but still in about 1 week of farming nothing, ive gotten plenty of stuff to give to others and sell on AH but nothing for me.

1.3 cant come soon enough, the itemisation in the game is beyond bad, they should implement mimimum DPS based on level of item, lvl60 rare 2h with 200dps? lol.. its an utter joke.

I dont get the prices on AH theres legendery stuff up for as low as £1.25 (thats less then 25p to them) are they really poor or havn't figured out they will lose most of it, then theres all the ones up for £100+ NEXT TO THE £1.25 ITEMS :p market research much?
