RMAH is a joke.. i wont be buying anything off it, i might lob some stuff on it to earn some cash off people insane enough to buy from it though

My thoughts exactly, but tbh I doubt I'll bother. Had a quick look earlier and couldn't help but laugh at the people listing stuff for hundreds of £...

can't wait till they enable gem, material and gold sales nice set pricing system to follow and much easier to get stuff to put up there and my stash is bursting!!!

In all honesty once they fix crafting costs it might be more viable just farming and making your own gear in the hopes of an upgrade, at the moment i just sell all the rubbish i get, i might start salvaging it and banking the mats ready for the 1.3 patch and crafting changes and then see if i can make something worthwhile that way, maybe buy some patterns off AH

Same as what I'm doing, vendoring any level 59 or lower blue but salvaging the level 60 ones; and 'lo si :p (jay)

finding the Sewers good for farming -managed 6-7 rares in about 10 mins of effort last night - not bad at all :)

That's actually where i am in Act 2 at the moment. I just joined through a mate at the end of the Black Soulstone quest though and wondering if i can just skip quest 5 and a large chunk of the Black Soulstone because they are probably the most boring in the game. Yup.

Is it worth saving up for the Hell and Inferno versions of the Staff of Herding? I have the nightmate version right now and whimseyshire seems like it could be a good place to farm for gold/items on the higher difficulties. I still need about another 150k gold for the hell staff though. And then a million more for Inferno =/

In my opinion no.

i've got a couple of friends farming inferno and getting quite a lot of drops from it, not sure how long it takes to balance out costwise from buying the staff though

Eugh. I'm on the checkpoint where all of Black Soulstone is finished (his blood and soul, both of the things in the terminus), i just need to grab his body but the checkpoint i'm at doesn't allow me to TP 'cause of where i spawn and i can't go anywhere 'cause i get surrounded too quickly. :(

any ideas why the less DPS from the rare I bought vs the blue I had equipped ?

I guess its attack speed ? I would have thought the +lots of Intelligence (I'm a Wizard) on the rare would have meant better DPS on that item ?

Takes a lot of Int to beat Attack Speed, and yeah it's because of the AS.

Mine paid for itself the first run through I did when a 2 million gold weapon dropped. The drop rates in there are quite poor however and I dont bother with it that much any more. It will become a lot more viable from 1.0.3 coz you can get your 5 stacks in Act 1 and get guaranteed rares from the packs in there.

Its a very easy farm once you get it down though due to the lack of ranged attacks on anything except elites. i cleared it in 30 minutes in full MF gear yesterday whilst testing a new build out.

Amazing chest armor I just got from Azmodan

*coughs*

Only thing i've sold so far has gone for 85p. :(

You'd have thought i'd get better drops considering i'm hoping to use RMAH sales to go towards seeing a private doctor. :(
