IAS items will go down in value a fair bit; they are being heavily nerfed, and it's retroactive. People wil 1350+ DPS weapons with decent IAS rolls might see it go down by as low as 900.

Battle.net account theft is a bigger industry than credit card fraud (yes this is 100% true by the way) and there are major operations going on where your email will be subject to brute forcing, or exploits and vulnerabilities tested on other websites they know you may have been visiting. One good example is that on some of the bigger fansites for WoW and Diablo, they managed to get users' information through the Google adverts. A lot of people used the same password and email for those fan sites as they do for their battle.net account. Nothing is safe and you are a target.

Were those nerfs confirmed though? I know they are definitely nerfing IAS but not sure to the degree that d3db.com site stated.
Yeah, those strings are on the actual game servers, they were datamined.

Not even for the wonderfull bliz/diablo will make me drop on phone
You can't log in without one if you attach it to your account, so using a friend's phone would be rather tricky
You can buy a separate physical authenticator http://eu.blizzard.com/store/details.xml?id=221004777 for peace of mind. It does cost a bit but it's worth it. You can't use the real money AH without one if you plan to go that way. Eventually when you hit max level you can always sell some ingame loot to get your money back.

No, Gibbering Gemstones, along with everything else to do with the Staff of Herding, are all account bound and can't be traded in any way.
I really don't understand how Blizzard believe a melee wizard is viable. Perhaps it is, but you probably need gear that far surpasses a Monk/Barbarians. You just have absolutely no way of gaining health like they can. Monk has his heals and the Barb has his 'gain 5% of max life' skills. Wiz gets none of that, all she can do is absorb 11-22k damage every 15 seconds which is nice but just doesn't cut it when you need health.
Essentially it comes down to you killing them before they kill you not mitigating the damage to something you can handle with healing like the other 2 melee classes. I can handle it for the most part on Act I but I think once I hit Act II I won't stand a chance in hell against champ/elites.
