Made a little more progress on my hardcore WD last night. Got to level 19 and killed Maghda. Now working my way through the oasis.

Its only a matter of time though...

Useful to know, guess I need to get some magic find gear :)

Managed to get my Barb to a point where I can run act 1 inferno without too much difficulty, only the really difficult mobs cause me to die repeatedly now :p
Got a Witch Doctor at 51 also, once I have them both at 60 I guess I'll start farming a bit to get some better stuff :D

Not got any magic find on my characters at the moment, imagine with the Barb at the moment I could sacrifice a bit of resist all and dps in exchange for it at the moment. Has around 800 armour, 600 resist all and 20k dps :D - was quite happy with that for under a million credit.


Still yet to get a single legendary to drop :( Only really had 2-3 good rare drops so far. Best sell is about 500k I think...

It depends, I am sacrificing minimal DPS to get a boost to my MF, I would not want to lose thousands just to do this, and I currently have 111K DPS so minor drops won't matter much.

When Patch hits im guessing you wont be at 111k dps ;)
 
I thought they said all they were doing was toning down Act II to make it less of an extreme jump from Act I and more in step with Act III rather than fiddling with all of Inferno?
 
They are definitely nerfing IAS across the board, how much is speculation at the moment, some info got datamined at d3db.com saying up to 50%, but again not confirmed - could easily change for live patch.
 
Was referring to peoples comments that they're making Inferno easier when all I've seen is that they're fiddling with Act 2.

The damage over all is an issue, the only way to successfully do act2 onwards is either heavily defensive (massive mitigation for melee, or huge damage and kiting for ranged)

I doubt anyone can do act2+ without using elective mode, that in itself is an issue as it seriously hinders class diversity. For my monk the only spirit spenders are defensive abilities, and my DH with 700 all resist still gets insta gibbed so damage needs tuning big time.

Near perfect rolled Andy's Visage, only 1 poison resistance away from perfection. Chuffed!

EDIT - Bleh just checked, seems the + 1 random property can include ones that add both dex and vit so not as perfect as I thought. Still, damn good find!

How does Krip get gear on his barbarian so quickly after dying? You need pretty insane gear for Act 3 onwards - does he have people from his stream donating millions?
 
Well got this at the weekend, just been doing the single player working out what class i like the best so far its a choice between monk or daemon hunter.

111k dps? :eek: Not as Barb presumably? Guessing DH? They seem to do massively more dps than all the other classes :/

I've bought a few high magic find rings and I'll try just switching to them just before enemies die to see how the loot is. Will be sacrificing a chunk of dps but not much impact to anything else. Will be worth a shot :)


Question regarding elective mode, does it allow you to choose more than one skill per group at the expense of not using a skill in another group? Or is it just effectively remapping which keys are where? I've done the latter on my witch doctor but not looked any further yet!
