Cha-ching! Lets see if the rest of my gear sells :p

For a laugh I thought I would see how I did in Act 1 with just a Beckon Sail and a 900dps bow equipped. Cleared with 5 stacks using just the equipment I found on the way which put me at 16kdps and 11khp

Then I thought well why the hell not, and tried Act 3 Cydea/Azmodan. First elite pack I meet is reflect damage/teleport/desecrate spearmen. Got 1 down but ran into rez timer resets and couldnt be bothered to carry on at that point. The right combination of affixes would have died pretty easily.

Shame they are nerfing it, I'm glad I cleared the whole lot pre-nerf (including Act 1, which used to be a hell of a lot harder) but its kinda fun to see just what the bare minimum gear level is you can get away with.

Will see what 1.0.3 brings I guess.

My DH took a bit of a beating in the patch so need to upgrade a few bits of gear, any ideas on value of this on regular AH or RMAH?

I would say salvage, Although I am not sure if the 51dmg is a rare or sort after stat.
The 8% crit is nice but LoH is a bit low and they don't really complement each other.

So reading the forums it seem the new patch has really nerfed Inferno. I don't think this is a bad thing being a Barb and being so gear dependant. I look forward to finding it easier and less frustrating.

You're kidding right? The life on hit may be low but 200 is still significant. Most people will only be able to get 190/300 on there weapon using a gem and the crit chance is nearly perfect for an amulet. Its by no means a great amulet but it'll definitely sell.

A quick search of the AH shows magic LoH ~300 and 8.5% crit are up for 1mil+ so you should easily be able to get a few 100k for it.

Of course its a bad thing. By the sounds of it, Act II is barely any harder than Act I. Not really heard how its changed Act III/IV but it sounds like they've removed the challenge across the board.

I watched a stream earlier with a dual wield barb tanking a blue and yellow pack on act 3 and surviving.

It looks like it's been nerfed way to hard.

Why shouldn't a dual wielding Barb be able to do that though? It'll be nice not have to stick to 1 very tank spec along with tanky gear.

Trying to figure out whether that Amulet would be much good for my Barb! Been stacking up critical a little recently in advance of the IAS nerf... Does that +damage effectively add to the total damage of my weapon. ie if I have a 900dps weapon I'd be looking at between 925 and 950 if you were to take it into account?

Currently trying to figure out pricing on a shield I'm putting up for sale. Anyone who has bought/sold shields. How much weight do you put behind the block chance? I've got The below shield:

Ignoring the block chance the rest of the stats look to put it at around 500k, but it seems the ones at that price point are 16-17% chance. Taking the Int, Vit and Resist there isn't a shield that matches those stats above 17% on the market at all!

Thoughts?

Tell me what other class can tank a blue and yellow pack and survive? Before the patch no one could as it was hard and thats with a sheild and after you can with dual wield and a bit of running around.

There is a difference between balancing a game and making it to easy. It was hard before and it did need a nerf, just it now looks like it was to big a one.

It is ok and will probably sell, but then again most mages/witch doctors will go for damage offhands. I guess just price it at a couple of 100k and just let people bid to determine its price.

Because unless he has absolutely exceptional gear, you should not be able to get away with fighting an elite and champ pack at the same time on Act 3 unless they have extremely easy abilities?

And why is nothing being done about Fire Chains? It is by far one of the most ****ing retarded abilities in the game. Just come up against a mob of teleporting fire chains bug swarms. There attacks alone were too much to handle without kiting but the Fire Chains is just moronic. It could kill me with 9400 armour and 868 fire res in just over a second. 29k hp gone so fast you'd blink and miss it.

To all the barbs, you had better start stacking dex/dodge or buy indestructible items because apparently each time you get hit it now costs you 500gp in repairs :)

What. That shield is salvage ****. The vitality and allres is miniscule, with the armor and block amount on the bottom tier of level 60 shields.

Just dinged 60! A bit annoyed I'm not going to play Inferno before the nerf. Normal, Nightmare and Hell have all felt very similar and pretty much just been a hack'n'slash. I'd be ****ed off if Inferno is just going to be more of the same now. If it is I think I'll be rolling a new class and playing without using auction house next time around.

Well the patch goes live in a few hours for EU, and looking at the US forum its completely broken WD's =/

zombie bears don't work anymore (as in, you cast and they do no damage).
Spiders don't always attack any more.
our Slows are not always slowing any more.
Spirit Vessel (passive) doesn't work.

Then add in the attack speed nerf, yeah .. fun.

Blue posted saying the bugs will be fixed in the next major patch, great but what about the next 4 weeks? seriously?
not happy.
