Yah repair costs are going to be a real killer. Some elite combos I had to just suicide into and take 20% of their life each time while I had discipline.

Now that'll probably cost more than the mats/npc costs I get from the drops -______-

No this is just a waste of time with the stupidly high repair costs. Went into the aquaducts with kulles. First champ pack I come across is a Shielding Jailer Fire Chains Nightmarish Accursed that moves very quickly, puts shield up to prevent any attempts at crowd control, jailers me while they surround me and then I spend the rest of the fight attempting to flee because of nightmarish. Utterly impossible to defeat and every time I try it costs me around 3-4k in repairs.

Not sure on the increased cost of repairing, that will mess up Monks/Barbs pretty badly, especially when you consider Barbs were already crazily gear dependent. Jump into a pack, get wailed on but kill them, pick up 600-2000g but have to pay around that in repair costs as well >.<

Means ill be using leap quite a bit less as well considering that lowers your durability on items as well, plenty of times I've jumped down a ledge or up a ledge and watched items go yellow (and no it wasn't into a fight I was just being too lazy to walk around

Dont know what they done but the game just dont feel right, realy slowed down . Lucky for my DH a ring upgrade with 12% run speed on it and the run passive on my toon and it seems a bit better again

Did 2 Whimsyshire runs last night, i am on the american severs and cannot believe the clouds only drop coins and white trash now. Good thing is i had quite a few lvl 60 items and with 5 NV stack the boss mobs drop at least one or two yellow items and the mobs dropped a few blue/yellow items in the 50-60 range.

Well gonna farm some more and feed those mobs some big meatball love with my DH ;)

How does the drop quality improve as you move up acts in inferno difficulty. As the cap is level 60 why not just farm act 1 inferno where you will find lvl 60 drops, rather than struggle through higher difficulties?

Or is that the drops remain at 60 level requirement but get better and better stat wise?

Performing any action seems to lower your durability :(

My amulet took damage from me firing my crossbow.

A freaking amulet.

I love it when the yellow damaged icon appears when you place Caltrops on DH. If you can't place down Caltrops without damaging your armour how can you possibly still breathe never mind fight demons?!

I tried installing D2 and its expansion that came with the D3 Collectors Edition. Couldnt get into it at all. It just seems so horribly dated now. Only made it to the second dungeon before going back to D3 again.

I find it to be quite the opposite. Lovely atmosphere, boss unique drops and perfect music.

Hint, use a glide wrapper and turn contrast up to max. Then its beautiful outside and pitch black in dungeons.

Also, install plugy mod to enable free skill respec.

The increased drop rate was just a diversion to the uber nerf in this patch.

Removing item drops from breakable objects and greatly limiting the chanse of gold drop from containers is a big fail. Diablo has always been about smashing barrels. And also no magic find on chests anymore

Im not sure on this one, anyone?

FYI Coxy - new drop rates.

Basically you're much better farming Act 1 Inferno over Act III/IV Hell.

Is it just me or have they also balanced the higher drops by increasing the chance of lower items as well? I've done a few runs now with more 50-55 items than I usually feel i get.

Anyone picked up any nice items on ACT1/2 inferno, or act 3/4 hell?

Interested to see the gear drop changes in action.

You still get screwed over by elites/champs just as much as you did before. I got to a 5 NV stack, killed 3 different 'unique' bosses but oh wait, of course they didn't get the guaranteed rare. Next 3 champ/elites I found were utterly impossible.

Think I'll give Azmodan another go later. Regular mobs on act 2 are no longer a threat for my wizard but elites are still anywhere from trivial to impossible.
