Everything set to ultra, 4x msaa, 16x af, HBAO on, post aa high and motion blur off. 1920x1200 with a gtx 670 windforce with a hefty oc on it. Could never run theese settings on my old oc'd gtx 470's in sli, msaa used up too much vram and the cards got too hot and loud.

Ive yet to see it dip below 65. Card is oc'd at +120 core, boosting to 1310mhz in game, memory at +760mhz.
Will do when i get home or by that time ill find the settings and u can edit the fxaa settings file yourself, with everything on ultra no fxaa or msaa ingame and these new settings bf3 looks and runs amazing on my 7970

basically they went to get some borded cod players interested in bf3 steal a few sales. while it does look better than cod map wise and everything else graphically cod4 does this ten time better !
graphicas arnt everything
so its alright for a change can be fun but it aint better than cod and cod does cod best. cod is faster better reg better simple animations that work 99 percent of the time. that suits faster gameplay in smaller maps. the mp works better and works 99 percent of the time unlike bf3.

i do enjoy bf3its a good game for some fun and a laugh. silly statements like its the best and bla bla blah though should be taken with pinch of salt
the weapons you get aug is great but will probably be nerfed most of others are ****. so after a patch theyll end up like normal guns anyway . theyll probably wait till most buy first thoughthen mess up the guns.
You can be nostalgic about COD4 all you want, but the simple matter of fact is that the COD as we knew it is dead.
MW3 needed 3 different development houses on board to get it pushed out in the 2 year window they had. Infinity ward didn't even touch the multiplayer aspect of the game. Worse still, the engine they used in MW3 they don't fully understand. They've spent since release trying to figure out the match making and lag compensation system and even now, 7 months on, they can't actually fix it.
There once was a pretty decent number of us from OcUK playing MW3 every night on consoles, but the numbers have dropped because everybody is so fed up with playing a broken game, that they can't fix.
The rumours as to how many developers infinity ward actually have are shocking if they are true. Some have said they are in single figures.
Because of this, you are never going to see another COD like COD4 again, as the company that made it no longer exists in any sort of reasonable sense of the word.
Compare BF3 to MW3, and i think battlefield actually does a lot of things better

The premium only unlocks are only dog tags.
Its not a question of whether it plays well or not, its purely down to whether you mind the fact that the flags get capped easily or not.
in BF3, due to the distances between the flags on the larger maps, once you capped a point it would take a team ages to muster the force required to trek halfway across the map and take it back.
Now with BF3 you can take a point, leave to go take another and the enemy could be burning the flag in less than a minute.
You obviously mind this, plenty here don't.

If you get killed by this, it will be by some bloke halfway across the map that could never have shot you. Usually they can't resist doing it with something impossible either like an ammo box.
If you die for no reason and it says "bad luck" its down to atmospheric stuff usually. Rubble falling on you, cars blowing up, fire etc...

Agree with Mr LOL on the cod thing. There will not be another cod4 as there will not be another Mohaa or bf1942. I really need to look at the game credits more often so i can spot the talent. Studios are just names we don't know who's working for them.
If infinity ward had made MW3 half as good as COD 4, then my comment that BF3 has done COD better than COD simply wouldn't apply.

so maybe revise your statement a little
also cod is being re overhauled with the very latest engine possible so soon bf series will be behind in every area.
one thing you cant fault about cod is it actually works ! if they cmbine this with how good they can run mp online and have the unreal4 engine graphics sorted then ill be happy

Guys, whats your opinions on the best machine gun to use in the support class. Been using the pkp lately but find that even if fired in small bursts it recoils a lot. I use it with a foregrip as well. I love the M27 but as ive played little support role ive not unlocked it for the russian side, mag capacity is a bit low as well.
the next big cod not black ops 2 out in 2013 november launch of xbox 720 will be
the money they will be putting into that as a big title and also being a launch title for xbox 720 will be immense . the bf game that year better come out 3 months early
