FFVII coming to Steam?!?!

I only played through VII and VIII last year on my PSP. I will definitely get it on Steam as well though.

Actually I don't think I finished VIII, I might see where I left it....

Didn't like Seph at all, seemed way too cliché (Yes I understand what I'm saying, no need to bring Dante up ;)).
 
INSTA BUY

In a way, the original PS1 game with modern resolutions and sharpened UI is the best treatment it can get. Square isn't capable of doing great games right now.

Just imagine this game in 1920x1080 with a 360 controller on the HDTV. I'm quite looking forward to it.

Oh, and the soundtrack will be done in pristine quality as well I'd imagine. So many reasons to look forward to a modern re-release of this game.
 
It's all about the Turks in VII, hilarious bunch.

VIII is my favourite, but it's easy, broken and short. But will always be my favourite.

I can't wait for X HD, especially after hearing that they've got different voice actors!
 
I lost my game years ago, i only have one disk now, shame.

This would be a buy for me, if it was priced correctly.

Though it does sound like Square Enix is playing the field.

Me too, though I also have the Metal Gear PSX games as well. I've got the platinum FFVII with the demo of VIII in it. I remember playing that thinking it was the greatest thing ever!

It was ok but wasn't the best. Apparently it was rushed because of the PS2. It popped out of no where towards of the end of the PS1 life cycle. Probably explains why it never got a PC release like 7 and 8.

I never really got into it either :| Awkward battle system, the story didn't grab me like 7 & 8 did, and Quina/Quinna whatever his name almost made me turn off the console. I just had to /facepalm with one hand and tap X until the conversation was over and he was gone.
