•The amount of damage dealt by Gas Cloud when first entering the cloud has been reduced, but the amount of damage incurred for remaining in the cloud has been increased.

•In Inferno difficulty, Gas Clouds will last longer, spawn 2 at a time, and (after 4 minutes) spawn more quickly.

The trouble is the amount of clouds... within 15 seconds the whole room is filled with them, with increasing damage over time.

Loads have done it on normal mode (a few on this forum), I agree hardcore is a lot different tho.

finally killed 3rd phase belial under 3 mins
used all 3 Rage skills
with boon of bulkathos, weapon master, nerves of steel passives

no more meteors!

Normal was cleared long long ago, I cleared it on my barb almost a couple of weeks ago now, which was no real feat when you can die over and over before you get the tactics down. Izual was the hardest for me, with his horrible instant charge attack that he can do from a metre away with no warning.

Seems some people don’t have to wait 72 hours, got the game under 24hours ago(online) and after reading though tons of posts on the Diablo 3 forum one post stuck out and said log into battle net and change your password to a much stronger one and it lets you past the lvl13 lock/RMAH

just tested it and able to level up past level 13

Yes, definitely remove the gems. People would much rather see 3 empty sockets, unless you had some very high tier gems in them.

There's actually a trick with that, his chest has vit + 3 sockets, most people will search vit, all res + their main stat, so what people do is put 1 of each gem in, so when someone searches for say dex+vit, str+vit or int+vit, the chest piece will appear under every search.

Can you do a quick knock up of the items you have at the mo? I'll have a look through my stash and see if theres anything you can upgrade to. I know I have a few all resist things...whether they're good or not is another matter

Thanks I'm not after handouts though, just wondering where I am going wrong

I'm doing a bit better now I've added some more +Vit and +All Resists. I'd ended up with only 20k health after swapping +str/+vit gear for resists and I think it was way too low. I have around 1200 life on hit too.

I was also playing a bit differently to most other barbs I've seen post here, built around ground stomp, overpower and whirlwind to kill big groups quickly, but I don't think it will work in inferno.

On the plus side, after the baby woke me up at 5am I tried act 1 inferno again and found this:

Easily the best item I've found so far, seems to have pretty decent stats and the all important blue lightening graphics - any idea on value? Edit: although just realised the dps being a bit low might make it useless

Lowish DPS but still decent , i reckon that'll sell pretty fast as the other stats are good, if it was me i'd lob it on the RMAH for some real cash hahaha
