Well I did have today off to go to the photocall at Yeovilton, but the weather saw that off! So instead spent the whole day sorting out the back room which doubles as my office and Jennie's bedroom. It's amazing how much stuff you can cram into a room over 5 years!

It's basically a torch with a DIY gell holder for colours on the end attached to wire and a switch, spin it round and then pivot over a marker to get the Orb perfectly round. Added a bit of bare LED to the buildings outline and features to highlight it and then a bit of blue led from a Lenser V24 for the window.

Hi guys,

Picked up a 1000D today with 18-55 lens and a Sigma DG lens 70-300mm 1:4-5.6. Ive never really taken anything photo wise with a proper camera. Most, if not all of my photos have been via a phone. Ive added three photos ive taken which im after a bit of advice on, what I should be adjusting to get a better shot? Also, with indoor shots im stuggling with the lighting, what settings should I be adjusting? Any advice is much appreciated!
